Personally I wouldn't recommend it because of other reasons. But it isn't anti that. Although some moments are a little forced.

I would wait and see what this season is really about. First episode has forced left politics and really stupid writing in some parts.

I would wait and see what people say about 2 episode. That i would do if i haven't bought the game.

So patience because this can get really ugly.

Why wouldn't you recommend it?

Personally I feel the games lacks a clear end goal/direction, the main characters to me are not interesting enough to carry the story on their own. When playing there doesn't feel as if there is important meaning to your choices. Like I mentioned, some moments feel forced, with poor writing. Etc etc. To put it simply, I found it boring. But others loved it...so maybe you will...who knows....but I personally wouldn't recommend it, as it is at the moment.

You dont get to build up connections with characters you always meet new people which you then leave again. I think a big part of Life is strange is to see the Characters develop over time aswell as the map.

My main concern is the fact that I might be invested in the story and everything, I might get immersed in the whole "LiS experience" and then there will come the obligatory "white people bad"/"Trump bad white"...

Yes the story and "feel" is not right in this one. Escape should have been end of this first episode i think.
