eh? "colds" aren't caused by temperature.
True and untrue the same time.
Since a cold is a viral infection, temperature is not the sole reason. But temperature has an effect on yout immune system and your ability to fight back virusses, so it still makes sense to keep your body warm.
The reson for Sean not to tell Daniel he stole is because he doesn't know how to justify it. I am ten years older than Sean is in the game and I can't even think of something right away wich Daniel might understand. Sean is not a typical RPG character whoes character you created 100% by yourself. He is his still his own person and the game just gives you the opportunety to show him the way you want him to go. He will follow your direction but how he goes there is totaly up to him. This has always been the case. Max was still her own person and Chloe, too. So Sean can make decitions on his own soemtimes. If they are good is debatable and i also criged here and there at some choices. (Oh, we are wanted? YOLO! Let's go to the christmasmarked.)
For the power. It was never inteded to be the focus of the series. NEVER! The powers just were a gimmik to make and solve problems. And btw. BTS had no powers at all... and it was great, too. And now the brothers dynamic is even more intense because it's not yourself you are messing with but a vournable person you care about.
And yes, I apologize for my English. This is a google translate.
I don't know about any pictures in the abandoned house (what do you mean?), but I'm quite certain that stealing the camping gear does affect Daniel's emotional control, since you also have to hit Hank in order to steal the gear.
Apart from this one act of bad behaviour I did my very best to behave like the perfect role-model, but still in the scene where you argue with Claire in Karen's room Daniel said quite forcefully "I have the RIGHT to see my mom's room."
There is however another more tame version where he says "Uh... I just wanted to see my Mom's stuff!"
I only know this because I checked the script on the wiki page.

There is a chance that this is (also) influenced or enforced by the choice in episode 1 to either question Daniel or confront Brett. I did the latter, wanting to protect Daniel.
I am quite sure, that was just a figure of speech lost in translation. What he meant was: It is not set in gold, that Daniel misbehaves, just because you stole the tent.
And thogh it is right, you have to give Daniel more than one "bad example" for him to be disrespectful, it still makes it more likely.
I mean the photograph of the family living in this house earlier, it is on the fridge. Depending on the behavior of Daniel, he can paint it, and can not touch it.
Unfortunately, I now can not verify what Daniel says specifically in this dialogue, because my preservation simply disappeared, but judging by other dialogues, he is still calm. For example, a dialogue near the hole with rabbits. Daniel can ask about those who lived in this house before them, and regardless of the answer, he will say something like "I like it here, it's much better here than at the shelter" or "This is OUR lair now". In my passage with the stolen tent, he chose the first option.
I also thought that this choice has an impact on the behavior of brother, so for the sake of the experiment I chose to “chastise Daniel” and did not protect him. Most likely it was this decision that affected the fact that in the second episode he remained calm after the stolen tents. Even Claire, if you ask her about her neighbors, said that Daniel could have a good influence on Chris and praised me for a "good example." Although I first thought that she praises only in the event that you do not attack Hank in episode 1.
Oh, too many letters. I hope everything is written more or less clear, because it is still a translate.
As I've said, in my playthrough the only two "bad" things I did was to confront Brett and steal the camping gear. Apart from that I was always the most supportive, kind and honest that I could possibly be ... and yet, even though I told Daniel to be honest with Chris, he kept lying.
He ended up saving him because despite all the rules I thought it was important to make Daniel believe in himself, but still ...
Did any of you choose the same options, but Daniel told the truth or is it really locked to those two decisions?
The first time around I also wasn't a d*** to my litle bro and encouraged his powers whenever I could, with a couple exceptions, and yes, he still lied to Chris. Then my save file done goofed, I started over, kept episode 1 the same, but this time, having done a bit of research, I was more strict with Daniel and told him no more often, like at Claire's when he stacked plates or at Chris' (these options actually have the small wolf icon appear). And ding ding ding, the Spirit Squad ending was mine!
I believe that since the theme of ep 2 revolves around, well, rules, Daniel, apart from your trust, is also affected by how lenient we are to these rules. There's no need to be superbly strict with him (I still got my "encouraged Daniel" check), but do let him show that you're serious about this, like telling him not to swear. And I'm still not sure if it actually has any effect, but just in case, throw the snowball properly.
Pro tip: if you ask Claire about the neighbors and she mentions at the end that Daniel has a good role model, you're on the right track.
No, he meant indeed the family photo of the cabin owner. If you have the "bad" Daniel, he's defacing the photo in a slightly disturbing way^^
I think there is some kind of points system which includes every interaction with Daniel in the first episode, so it's possible that you can steal some things and Daniel doesn't behave bad in episode 2, if you on the other hand don't prank him, don't tell him bad stories about bears, show him how to skip stones, play with him, let him win the wood race etc.
Very interesting. Thanks for your answer.
In your second playthrough, did you confront Brett and steal the gear or not?
And did Daniel help you with cleaning your room in Claire's house or not?
In both my playthroughs I confronted Brett (no prick dare diss on my little bro) and ran from the station as soon as I got the prompt (as I would likely also do in real life, f*** that old fart).
Not the first time, but the second, yes he helped me =)
Did you scold Daniel for playing with the plates at breakfast or not?
And did you snow douse the pretentious townie or leave him be?
Yes, I scolded him, and it showed the little wolf icon too, so I guess it affects Daniel. Same thing at Chris' house btw.
And nah, that townie was beneath my desire to waste the power on an unsuperhero-y prank (yet I still took his leaflet for lolz). Also, it has no logo-showing effect on either brother, I guess, so yeah.
