She could've been gay. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I never said that, lol. I am a strong believer in guy and girl friendships. My own best friend is a guy, so yeah.
I just really liked the chemistry between them and would have liked to see it be an option.
Doesn't mean I think every friendship should be turned into one, that doesn't make sense.
And if you are refering to my "unlike what a lot of people believe a lot of beautiful relationships do come from years long friendship", I simply added this because a lot of people believe in being stuck in the friendship zone, which isn't always the case, just like a romantic relationship isn't always the case either. Both is fine.
This is correct in many ways, and it is true about a lot of aspects of games that seem "tacked on" (I use quotes because I prefer the phrase "duct-taped to the ceiling and nail-gunned to the floor" due to the heavy-handedness of the romance options in the games listed, as well as others).
I get that there are more people of varying backgrounds who play games now, and that developers try and please as many of them as they can. Unfortunately, in the attempt to appeal to everybody, they end up making the equivalent of a garbage pizza with anchovies, pineapple and jerk chicken combined on a crust stuffed with limburger cheese.
I'm all for romance options so long as they make sense and actually turn out to be a benefit to the game as a whole. But this current trend of throwing them in just to appeal to a certain demo (and I'm talking about non-indie games as well, not necessarily ones like Life Is Strange) is getting a little bit much.
I expect the next version of Tetris will have a romance option. One hopes that remains purely sarcastic.
For me, she's one of the lucky few characters I didn't dislike. Simply because she had limited screen time.
I feel meh about her. She's not terrible but she's not amazing either.
I saw the interpretation that after they part ways in "Redemption" Sean sets out on solo trip around the world just like Brody had beeen doing that, which could be a really logical and big reference to Brody, as he was one of the friends who helped the most boys.
