SPOILER: How do I get the best ending on episode 2?
Hello, I'd like to know how I can get the end where Chris helps them escape from the cops, I've tried every way but there's always the end where Daniel saves Chris

So I guess that being discouraged to use Daniel's power and keeping the secret will result in the bad ending as a whole, and encouraged and protecting the secret will result in the 'good' ending regardless. Its probably not about being nice to Daniel or not.

(This is just my assumptions on the endings of these choices so don't grill me if these actions dosent turn out to be what is expected Im not a Dontnod moderator XD) Enjoy your playthroughs!

Ask Daniel to tell the truth about his abilities to Chris. It worked for me.

Apparently he can also choose to ignore you when you ask him to do that.
So be aware of that as wellwith your choices.

I got the "best" ending and with mine, I'm fairly nice to Daniel, encourage him not to steal and be honest. Discouraged him from showing off his power (overall). Maybe that can help.

Thanks I got the best ending, I think He has to trust you first, Sean has to be more responsible (like I didn't let him swear, i called him out when He was cheating, i didn't let him kill the cougar and after all i told him not to lie)

I just called Daniel out on cheating but let him kill the cougar and allowed him to swear. I overall encuraged Daniel to use his power because I think he can realy help, but just as a last resort.

there's actually a third ending. it's really sad.

you get to it by Daniel not telling Chris the truth, and convincing him to stop using his power.

Chris runs out thinking he can stop the police car, Daniel doesn't intervene, and Chris is hit by the car.

I did this yet Chris still gets hit. In the end, Daniel says that he should've talked to Chris, "Like you've told me". So obviously there must be something else.

Danial actually has to listen to you. I can't identify the correct micro-decisions off the top of my head, but I'd say just be nice to him so that when you tell him to be honest, he actually follows through. (I think it's important to call him out on cheating when you guys are playing dice).

Be nice with Daniel in first and second episode, then he will tell the truth.

Why not just play the game for yourself and get whatever ending you get? It is RETARDED to play the game just to get the good endings

I play the game once (probably) and stick to things I would do and say. Too bad I missed the option of telling Daniel he was cheating with the dice game (I thought my game just glitched... That's what I get for playing on an old not-made-for-gaming PC), because seriously, after reading this, I think that could be the thing that ended up giving me the bad ending.. Poor Chris...

If it's worth anything, I was noted to have "repressed" Daniel from using his powers, despite also having a good number of times where I let him use them, and still got the good ending where he wasn't even in danger of being hit?

No it's not
I played the game on my own and watched BF playing it. We had different choices and endings after all.
BF: He didn't let Daniel cheat on dice game, but let him "play" with his power as water bottle of dishes during the morning. He asked him to tell the truth bu Daniel didn't. Christ was hit by the car. (He also say thnaks to save chris from the tree) During the first episode he stole de choco crisp in the car, punch the guy from the station and stole him after. Daniel stole de doll, but maybe.. every thing started from episode 1.
I : I didn't stole anything of trying to punch guy furing episode 1. I played the really stupid guy who don't want to hurt anybody. Daniel stole only mushroom, nothing else. In the second episode i repressed him for insults and power, even for some water and stuff. But i didn't noticed he cheated on dice game so i said nothing. I told Daniel rules after he saved Chris from the tree despite of "it was good". And when i asekd Daniel to tell the truth, he did. Chris helped us to run away

I'm pretty sure it's a mix between episode 1 and 2. And obviusly what you chose from Chris saving maybe ? But not the dice game
