The other option is if you have enough mony left to buy something. Why isn't there an option to not buy anything. Sean is such a good artist he can draw something very nice for Daniel. I feld so bad... at last the yoyo is JUST a yoyo and it was for kids in poor families so it actually was for Daniel, too in a way...
I'm certainly not happy that there is no no-gift option either...
Yea. It kinda sucks. I would be happy if Sean was able to leave some coin in the box were he took the yoyo.
If you tell the vendor that you are the Reynolds grandchild, he will give you a 1 $ discount so you can get something for 4 $.
Thanks for the tip. Restarted the scene to get the discount. Time rewind powers still working =P
It's an absolutely ridiculous scene, because it defies everything the boys try to do before by hiking through the woods to hide from the cops, avoiding public places as much as possible and shutting off from society.
I'm also very mad that you HAVE to get Daniel a present. They can't even afford food, so Sean has to leave the cabin to go steal and dumpster-dive, but suddenly you're supposed to spend what precious little you have on pointless trinkets ???
If anything, do what Daniel did and MAKE a present !!! Imagine how thrilled he would have been if Sean had followed Chris' advice and drawn the first comic page of "The Spirit Squad Adventures" ...
It is such a missed opportunity that makes so much more sense in the narrative.
But no, you either have to buy useless cr*p full price, reveal your identity (thus endangering yourself and your grandparents) or resort to stealing ....
UPD
unbelievable.......... last checkpoint is after i gave the money to Cass... Now i have to reveal my identity, which is sooooo stupid as the whole trip to the damn market!!! HATE THIS!!!
UPD
and... final strike... i had only 3 dollars, so i have to steal, no other way... i just want to stop playinbg thois game
Did somebody ever told how to do constructive critisism? I don't like the no option to leave without having a present either. But there are worse things I would ragequit about than that. If you realy don't want to steal the yoyo and quit playing it is completly your choice to do so, but in my opinion you are a little over dramatic here. In other games you have to steal to join sertan guilds and otherwise you can't have that content.
You have some own rule here how to feel and express opinions? I doubt that.
I think its stupid too that you have so little choise overall in these games. It forces to do stupid things like going to the market.
Somehow LIS series is much more engaging than almost anything that i played before. I really care about my choises and i would NEVER freaking steal anything! I never starved or whatever so who knows how desperate people get, but here its absolutely offensive to leave me no other options! I'm boiling!!!
And of course i cant quit, i'm committed to finish it despite it being bs political statement. Because it feels that my game choices matter even if they dont, way to many times it made me think and assess what would i do in situation at hand.
Yees it has and like I sad before I feel the same. But I also sad it is a little over the top to ragequit just because the game doesn't give you the options you want. There are better ways to show you don't like it ya know...
But since it is Hatti I am talking to I don't think that counts for him. >.>
