[ spoilers ] What happens when you try to steal?

I really don’t want to go down that road with having Sean steal from the store near the gas station but has anyone done it and does it work well? I want to assume that it would have consquences later on or something but I am really tempted to. He only has 30 bucks and there is no way he can afford sleeping bags, tents and clothes, lol. What I am wondering is does it work and do I have to do something prior? I may have him pay for the food though.

It more than likely would have consequences. But there could also be a way to obtain the money to afford it from somewhere. Kinda like how Chloe would collect a lot of money and donate to the Firefighters in BTS.

Not yet, no. Been downloading since 12am. I've got the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet possible. Nearly Dial-Up.

I was just thinking about other possibilites of Sean finding more money elsewhere. Because in BTS, Chloe ends up collecting money over time and has the potential to donate the money by Episode 3. I can't remember how much exactly. I think it was anywhere between $1000-$2500.

There's also the swear jar that Sean can steal from in the kitchen. Just keep a sharp eye. You might find a dropped wallet, or maybe a box under a tree or can be dug up or something. When I can finally finish this damn download, I'll go through the first episode a few times and see myself.

At this store you're talking about, maybe you can even distract the cashier/owner into going off into the back for something, and then possibly steal from the register?? Just another thought.

I think the max you can have is 50something. 40 from dad and 10 if you steal from the jar at the beginning.
I also didn't steal anything besides the camping gear after the kidnapping, so I was mad when the redneck ♥♥♥♥ accused me of stealing (although he did it because he's a douche)
