$40 is a pretty disgraceful price

I don't remember the other LIS games being $40. It's highway robbery. This isn't some open world 100s of hours game. Its even more ridiculous b/c its episodic (which most people hate and things can go wrong - see TTG). I can afford it, but I think its disgusting to gouge us like this. And sadly, I'll probably buy it, b/c I simply have no other new games to play at the moment (or that I even want to play) - but the publisher should know the price is a turn off to fans. The only thing that would justify that price is a GREAT game (of course) along with 25-30 hours of gameplay (which isn't likely). This really leaves a bad taste in my mouth towards Square Enix. Oh well - better hope its a masterpiece.

I saw a video just from the demo (up to the point when they leave) and it was 1.5 hours long. Didn't watched it, but i think if you look at everything and don't rush trough it you can easily play 5 hours.

I'm pretty sure Before The Storm was close to that price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could have sworn Before The Storm was like 30 dollars. That's only ten dollars less than Life Is Strange 2 and it had three episodes instead of five. I feel like 40 dollars is resonable.

exactly, if you rush lis episode 1 it could take 45 min - 1 hour
it seems this game will be a lot longer in terms of playtime

It's funny how people buy $40 worth of in-game cosmetics to "support the developer", but they can't afford same amount of money to buy a full game, because it's "too expensive".

Just to remind you of what IS a bad pricing: Sea of Thieves costed $60 at it's release and it lacked everything.

Did they remove the copyrighted music too? If so it wouldn't really be worth watching.

They try to be first to get the views so rushing is expected.
