Like I still like the game a lot but he's so annoying.
Poor Sean, he has to deal with Daniel, while he's a teenager by himself
Daniel rarely if ever disobeys Sean in my playthrough; expect for scripted events. He doesn't/rarely swears also, and doesn't steal.
Furthermore, he's 9. Let me say this again. He's n i n e. That's one year under 10, if anyone was confused at all. Also, his father died!
I mean...? *does weighing motion with hands*
Edit: Daniel is just straight up disobedient. He's age is no excuse. Yes, I parent him to follow rules. A kid like him probably got no strict discipline before the major incident because he's very spoiled and bratty. His behavior would never be tolerated in my family, so no I never acted like him. The thought would have never crossed my mind to be so flippant obnoxious on deciding when to follow rules, especially the ones that keep them safe.
I have 3 kids, and none of them behave like Daniel, none of my 6 years old daughter behave like him.
Another thing episode 3 teaser at the end of episode 2 is not even present in the game, seems like they changed direction wnd didi their best to cut costs.
Daniel is the villain of this game and I'm sick of him.
My cousin has 2 daughters aged 5 and 3. Both are more obedient and well behaved than Daniel.
I wouldn't put too much thought into that. The teasers in Before the Storm also played out differently in the game.
Oh boy, prepare for anger. You get zero chances to tell him off, everything gets spun around and slapped right back in your face. No matter how angry Sean is, in the end, he'll still conclude that Daniel disobeying, doing stupid things and ruining people's lives, including their own, was all Sean's own fault, just because Brat Kid and Pothead McDreads says so.
...
I genuinely hope this series will end with one last, major choice where we're actually given a choice to keep going with Daniel, sticking with family but realising that life will keep being as dangerous and complicated as it is, or leave Daniel behind to... whoever, social services or grandparents or idgaf, before we get to Mexico, losing family but being able to live a safe life for ourselves. If they had the balls to make people choose between their beloved Chloe (note: their, not my) or Max's town and friends, surely letting us choose between Daniel or safety shouldn't be too far away.
Add me to the list of psychos, I´ll even offer to change my review to "positive" if he gets killed before the final cutscene of the last episode.
Yeah, I get it. A kid who lost his dad, in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situation being dragged around by his dummy brother with superpowers. I get it.
But annoying is still annoying. And he is annoying.
And Daniel in my game *likes* me. As much as he can. I hate to think how he acts with people who screwed up and he doesn't like lol.
