And for some reason we get told that "it's all your fault".
Which is annoying because it clearly isn't and also the umpteenth pathetic attempt at striking the "boo hoo my cute little brother who has already suffered so much doesn't love me" chord. BORING.
But Sean will get hurt in any case. His injury's obviously a major plot point in the next episode.
The whole episode was honestly a little frustrating because I did my damndest to prioritise Daniel over everyone else. But the dialogue options were always argumentative, never sympathetic, and even near the end you can only progress the game by visiting Cass at the lake. I chose not to go in the water and left immediately, but Daniel will still be mad at you for being with your friends. This episode really isn't paving the way for Sean to be a better brother to Daniel.
Right? Anything you can say to him just causes tension to the point where I just wanted to have a dot dot dot answer option, even then an argument would probably still happen because you didn't give an answer smh
I thought he'd be happy to spend time with other people after having to cling on to Sean for months, this isn't his ideal life either, this is his only chance at a normal social circle of people his age in a while and you're mad he isn't ignoring them for you when EVERYTHING he's been doing was for you this entire time you've been on the run?
And he was seriously salty because I drank and smoked and he couldn't when he's even lucky I let him stay up with us when everyone his age is probably in bed. Smh
There are so many choices which are basically the same (e.g. be mad or be mad) or which doesn´t change the main plot, because they haven´t prepared for the other scenario.
I actually like the main characters until their choices are the same, which forces them to say something stupid or until the the plot forces them to do something VERY stupid.
I understand if it where just for the beginning for episode 1 to start the story, but it happens to often.
Well, this is not how the Life is Strange games work. But season 1 was way more linear than season 2 is. In episode 3 of season 2 we have for the first time different story branches (in the heist or off the heist) at some points or scenes which will play out in a whole different way (go to bed with Daniel or stay at the fire, learn more about the group and get a haircut). And episode 2 and episode 3 both have a lot of varieties in their endings.
But your decisions never changed the main plot in both of the seasons. You can play season 1 as often as you want. The main plot will still be the same. You can only change a lot of minor details of it. The same goes for season 2. As long as we know, because we don't know yet, how it will fleshed out in the end.
