Episode 4 endings [spoilers, obv]
After watching a couple of endings on Youtube, I got really curious of the game mechanisms.

During my 1st playthrough Daniel didn't attack Lisbeth in my ending. I was given the choice between threatening her with the gun or asking Daniel to push her to the side. I choose to threaten her but she didn't move an inch. Hence, my final choice was to shoot her.

Leaving this kind of decision to Daniel was utterly out of the equation. Imo the kid saw and did enough considering he's been used for his powers by total strangers for personal glory. It was poetic in a sense to show him he can fully rely on Sean to protect him. Also, at the same time I wanted Sean to be in control, to have at least one decision he owns and be accountable for, especially after enduring so many humiliations and beatings. He deserved to have that power.

I'm glad of my choices. With that being said, I know the game will consider this ending as bad and make me pay for it in Episode 5 : Sean's reaction is exactly the same whether he shoots Lisbeth himself or doesn't intervene and let Daniel in charge of murdering her. In both cases he states "it was her or us" which is true considering the ignited church. Except Sean does not kill Lisbeth for revenge in my version

What choices did you have and what your reasoning to decide between the two options? Were you satisfied with the ending you got?

I tried to stop Daniel from hurting her twice then the third time I just gave up and did nothing, it was either I kill her or Daniel so considering he never listens in the first place I just let him do his thing and she died. The end.
I used to try to pick the right choices but now I'm just picking whatever, Finn hates me now aswell which is fine because we won't meet again anyways.

Well in my playthrough, I didn't want Daniel or Sean to kill her, so I threatened her with the gun first. I let Daniel push her from our way out and blast the door the second time and he controlled his power nicelly just to push her without killing her.
At the end, when Sean gets out with Daniel and Karen, Nicholas helps Lisbeth getting out of the church and keeps her from go back in to do whatever her sick mind told her to.

Sean already have a ton of problems over his head, he doesn't need to be a murderer.

Mine , Daniel just blew open the doors and we all left. She lived crying over her burning church

Oh so you actually bothered meeting him during the escape? I thought Finn was sooo not worth it. Guess he will hate me anyway when he realizes I blamed it all on him.

For your ending, your choices have to be in correlation with previous decisions in former episodes. In my second playthrough, I did the heist and Finn died : Daniel attacked Lisbeth directly, I had no choice to threaten or kill her. I was given the option to spare her or not intervene. I spared her life and he listenned (alleluya, that was the real miracle).

It's pretty much a case of self-defense for me. I'm no lawyer but since the church is in flames, and Lisbeth is blocking the exit on purpose for them to die all together... I know I would have acted the same in a similar situation. Thus, I disagree with you, my Sean was no murderer.

If there is something that I've learned, it is the following : to let Daniel act on his own or ask him to use his powers to save us in a given situation is a risk I'm no longer willing to take.

I didn't do the heist, he chocked Cassidy and got shot, then he killed Elizabeth so I guess it's just punishment for me not letting him do whatever he wants.

And yeah I did meet Finn, I snitched and told the truth because he WAS the one who made the plan and still went against me when I clearly was against it, I also blamed him when I met him and now he hates me lol.

Does Finn really say "I hate you" or something like that? Because I chose the "to late" option when I talked to him, and he only said something like "Sean, please don't be mad, you are important to me". I also gave him the whole fault, when the police girl talked to me (because it's the true!). And no, I didn't kiss him in episode 3, I choosed Cassidy. =)
It's really nice to see how those little choices makes such huge differences. =D

I don't remember if he said he hates me but he just gave me an angry look and Sean said something along the lines of are you happy now and walked off so maybe it's more of Sean hates Finn then Finn hates Sean. To be fair, I didn't ACTUALLY think it would break our relationship, I just wanted to rant at him then move on but it's whatever now I guess

I didn't go through with the heist and Finn was killed, I denied Daniel from using his powers every chance I could get up till this point and he ended up just pushing her out of the way without killing her. I didn't even threaten her I just told him to do it and he obeyed. It was kinda nice if weird how well it went.
