Hi!!
Glad you love our game!
As for future update, the only thing we can say for now is what Lachhh wrote on Twitter a year ago ( sorry, I know, it was posted a year ago, it's long, but it's still accurate :D ) :
And @shapesnbeats is turning 4 today! Four years and you guys are still there. I didn't expect this little shape story I had in my head would resonate with so many people, for so many years.
JS&B definitely changed my life. The spotlight came with its load of excitement, pride and gratitude but also stress, fear and anxiety. "What if they don't like this new update!?!".
It's a lot to deal with for a simple dude and his team making games. But you guys keep sending love. Sharing fan arts, birthday cake, cosplay, levels, stories. Countless of content that contribute to the JS&B universe. It's overwhelming, heartwarming, motivating. It gives me fuel to keep working on the franchise. Adding new content, working on new stuff. I'm not done with JS&B, I still have stories to tell. But it takes time to create something I'm proud of, and I appreciate your patience.
I know I'm a lot less online that I used to be, partly because my computer (and my brain!) is filled with JS&B top secret stuff and half baked ideas. Making games is chaotic, it involves trashing 90% of your ideas, sometimes even cool looking one. I used to be able to share this process when the crowd was smaller, more intimate. But as the community grew, It became increasingly difficult to explain why stuff sometimes doesn't work the way you intended. Internet can get angry fast :D. So for my own sanity, I'm a bit more reserved. The good news is it works! It helps me be more creative, helps me try new stuff. I can't wait to have something ready, come out of my little shell and yell "Yo look at this!"
Our goal is to continue to work on the JSB franchise, but we have nothing to announce yet. It will take a while before we can, because (like Lachhh said): it takes time to create something I'm proud of, and I appreciate your patience.
When we'll be ready to announce something new to JSB, we will make posts on Steam and on our socials ( like Twitter )
We waiting))
Well, I will repeat myself again (we know, a lot of time passed by, but this is still our situation right now) : Our goal is to continue to work on the JSB franchise, but we have nothing to announce yet. It will take a while before we can, because (like Lachhh said): it takes time to create something I'm proud of, and I appreciate your patience.
