DLC Route Suggestions/What do you want to see?

So I've noticed that Dovetail seems to read through these discussions, so I thought I could start a thread for people the get their route suggestions out there. I myself have a few...

1. Soviet/Russian routes, such as the trans-Siberian railroad and Ural mountain passes
2. Austrailian railroads, modern, classic, and vintage
3. Older US trains, like the F7A
4. Subways, like the London underground
5. Narrow guage railroads
6. European mountain routes, with trains like the V200
7. Chinese rail networks
8. More diverse intermodal cargo-instead of all of the containers saying CSX (or the respective company) You should mix in some more stuff, like Mearsk, Evergreen, and others
9. Weathered trains, with rust and faded paint
10. The dual-engined DDA40X, the most powerful single-unit deisel locomotive
11. Switching operations and locos, like the SW1500

My first suggestion to the game would be to implement the creation tool, then second I would love to see the Sahara Railway which is one of the most extreme routes in the world. On that route it would be cool to see the sand from the dessert whirl around the train.

UP steamers like the big boy and challenger FEF-3 and the 5511 and 40-60's era rolling stock and a j1 2-10-4 PRR steamer and the PRR T1 and the HUGE 6200 turbine :D

For Germany: either Offenbach-Villingen or Koblenz-Mainz. Both are amongst the most scenic stretches of railway in Germany.

There's so many awesome railways, but if I have to make a top 5 of routes that I own in Train Simulator that I'd like to see in TSW (which is hard to limit myself to 5), I end up with this list.

1. Albulabahn
2. Wakayama & Sakurai Lines
3. West Highland Line Extension
4. Koblenz - Trier (Mosel Valley)
5. Pacific Surfliner

I agree Donner pass would be a awsome and challenging route for this game if it is made it shuld be made in the southern pacific era with cab Forward gp9s sd9s f7s and amtrak f40s for passenger service. and for a mission it shuld have the storm of 1952 with alco PAs and daylight passenger cars.

TSW is more realistic than Train simulator, you cant even walk around in TS

Agreed. I want to explore new railroads.

Not sure what your point is. Anyway, I am more into train simulators then walking simulators.

I agree - Donner Pass would be a great addition in TSW. Could care less if it has been represented in other train simulators before or not. The visuals would be awesome in TSW. And as the kinks get worked out in the Diesel electric locomotives in TSW would be a great challenge to lift the heavy frieghts over the pass.

Amazing how stuck in the mud many are. With literally thousands of rail routes out there in the world that can be created, many stick to the same few. It is a shame because they miss out on some of the wonders of the rail world.

If DTG can perfect TSW and the physics engine then we could really see some fascinating and challenging routes come to life for simmers.
