Key bindings and their settings
Bought TSW, and I have a Swedish keyboard. The keyboard bindings in the settings are incorrect and I cannot change them. Switching to an english keyboard layout solves the problem, but they can't be serious if English keyboard layout is a requirement for the game to play correctly? For example, the auto brake has no release button with a Swedish layout, and trust me, I've tried all the keys on my keyboard.

It works. But DTG have to find a solution for this. I cannot believe they didn't take care of this !

It is very troublesome indeed. I cant comprehend the lack of various controller support either :/

A game like my summer car, developed by 1 single man has options for controllers..
Absolutely true !

I wonder what DTG has against rebindable keys.

I dont know :/ I wonder what the game has against my email address and password for dovetail account since it forgets it each time i load the game..

As one of those individuals with a slew of various flight controllers, I'd be all for assignable controls as well. I'm kind of sad that they aren't available. I wouldn't rebind everything, but I'd love to put the throttle, brake, and the reverser on a single Saitek throttle quadrant, turn it sideways, and clamp it to my desk. That would make me very, very happy indeed.

I agree that its a shame that their are no layoutoptions.
Coming from the flightsimworld where you can assign every single button to joysticks its very frustrating that you must change keyboardlayout to US/UK for the game to work.
Dovetails must change this otherwise people will ask for refunds for the game.

And the issue isn't QWERTY/non-QWERTY either. It is one of localization. Many non-US/British keyboards are QWERTY (in fact, most latin character ones I'd say), including mine, and they do not work. "QWERTY" are on the same keys, however ";:'[]´`" are not.

Thought I'd point that out as the DTG representative above may otherwise go off on a bit of a wild goose chase.

I agree, having 2 of those saitek controllers that would be pretty awesome :) It is in fact one of the reasons i bought this game in the first place. I thought trainsims had developed far enough to incorporate this... but nay, they are still caught in the stoneage.

I played TS2014 for like 1 hour because of lack of controllers. I will do the same with this game I suppose.

I never really used the saitek programming software, but I plan on having a go at TARGET, its thrustmaster counterpart along with my warthog, segment various analog inputs and make it toggle a key press when reaching a certain threshold while moving up or down... It's far from ideal, but I also want to use my expensive hardware on this simulator ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That's the only idea I had so far to get around the game's current limitations...

Hi - for anyone experiencing non-QWERTY keyboard issues, please see the post pinned to the top of this board about a new build. We have just now opened a test build where we believe we've addressed the issues. We'd value your confirmations.

Thanks for your patience on this. We know there are more things to look into - and on remappable keys - I've passed that back to the right people here for a look at in the future!

Could you please stop referring to it as a QWERTY/non-QWERTY issue, as it is not. You're bound to introduce confusion in the troubleshooting.
Still no way to use camera keys after update and even when changing keyboard. I use azerty Belgium FR configuration so DTG, is it possible to do something ? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Same issue for me, French keyboard, it's a shame Dovetail will fix it for TS 2050

Hi there. Yes, it has come to our attention this evening that there are a few issues regarding non-QWERTY (English) keyboards.

A workaround for now is to change your keyboard to English/QWERTY and see if this resolves the immediate situation.

The issue is definitely noted for more investigation, thanks for posting.

I don't think there is a specific thread for this but I might make a separate one concerning my request.

Will there ever be mouse support?
