The Handful of Dice demo is out now, free on Steam.

Pick up physics-driven dice, shake them in your hand, throw them into the tray and watch them settle before you read the result. Every die is in the demo: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20 and the percentile pair. Save the hands you roll most often, switch between the angled and top-down views, and try out your own dice designs in the Workshop. Saving your designs and pouches comes with the full game.

The demo already comes with its first update, and it changes how you gather your dice. They now come from a pouch in the corner and wait in your hand until you throw.

• Pick. Move to the bottom-left corner and the pouch fans out. Click a die to take it into your hand, one per click. Right-click puts one back.

• Hold. Your hand rests inside the fan, the dice turning slowly while they wait.

• Shake. Grab the hand. The dice grow to full size, follow your cursor, and tumble and knock together as you move.

• Throw. Let go over the tray.

• Clear. Press on empty felt and drag into the corner, and every die goes back into the pouch. You can also drag a single die onto the corner.

The bottom drawer is gone in this mode. If you prefer it, set Dice selection to Drawer in Settings.

Dice that feel good in your hand are what this game is about. If something feels off, or just right, tell us in the discussions or leave a review on the demo page. We read everything.

The store page has been public for a day, and some of you have already found it and added it to your wishlist without us telling anyone. Thank you, that means a lot. We'll post regular updates here as the game grows. If you'd like to follow along, wishlist and follow Handful of Dice.
