Is the game good?

All I am seeing is really unfunny meme reviews that tell me nothing about the game. Is the game actually decent or is it just a Youtubers fanbase boosting the game as a joke

Arena is free so you can try that.
It has a bunch of modes which I don't really like but it also has a demo of the normal game, so you can play it and decide if it's good for yourself.

Arena's over here. Give it a shot.:-) If you dig Arena's basic gameplay, you'll probably enjoy Synthetik. If not, you probably won't.

And you'll probably find using a controller frustrating (Switch users on Discord so far don't seem so happy about aiming and such), so if you prefer to use one, this might not be the top-down/twin stick shooter to try. Helldivers imho, is a much more polished controller game because it was brought over here from Sony' consoles.

And I'm not Sseth, and nobody gives a rat's arse about my gameplay videos, but I posted this full co-op run back in March 2019, no memes. :-)

I played and enjoyed this game before I even knew it was "memed" by a popular youtuber.
that being said, I thought their review was good entertainment.

I would definitely recommend the game at least if you're a fan of rougelites and/or top down shooters. It has the best top down gunplay by far; nothing comes close

It's a good game but it is riddled with bugs and glitches and I don't think that they'll ever be fixed. On top of that, you get a bad u.i, bad controller support and questionable dlc and promo choices. You have to spend another 13 bucks on supporter packs in both Symthetik games to get all weapons and refer the game to friends for yet another additional weapon

@Nachtmahr I dont know man, your critic is appreciated but it seems a little harsh. First off, Bugs and glitches? VERY few. Questionable dlc/promo? Given what the game already provides without the dlc, its nothing. Especially compared to what other game studios throw at you.
Controller compatibility? Yeah its bad, but thats mainly because the game was originally not designed for it. I just hope they fix this, because i've read that its gonna be ported to various consoles.

The devs are currently working on the bugs and glitches and although many of them exists and most likely will still exists in the future, most of them are coop only and most of them them are just funny/annoying, not really a problem. The UI isn't really bad and using a controller to play this game is a really bad idea. Too many items you have to manage (at least you should) and the gameplay is too fast for a controller. None of the dlcs are actually required, they're litterally supporting the devs, that's it. All of the weapons you get from the dlcs or by refering can be unlocked via save editing, the only reason to buy the dlcs is to show appreciation.
