One of the reasons I liked Enter the Gungeon was it had all this breakable stuff, but I didn't have to spend 40 minutes walking around breaking stuff trying to min-max.
I would be very happy to see the items dropped from them removed.
Yeah they can drop good items but who cares? You already end up getting so many items just from crates and enemy drops you have to recycle half of them.
Honestly, this is a self created issue. Just ignore them and move on, if one happens to pop and drop an item, well there ya go, bonus.
this is bad option you said that to bunch of super-duper cool weapons
I'd just as soon get rid of drops to crates, and increase enemy drop % chances by normalized amount of average crates per level.
I wonder what else I don't know.
Otherwise I'd rather just remove them, and normalize its drops on the enemies and crates on the levels.
Currently it's just a boring feature.
We can just remove the drops but then people will complain that there is nothing inside.
I will remove pickups from crates and give a chance to drop powerups (but not the exp one)
anyway, i guess removing pickups will work. i doubt anyone will break them for powerups.
