And the reasoning is just the best.
“We put agreement with a publisher over agreement with our founders, because of cause we did”
Just swell.
Or are you expecting some kind of congratulations? Maybe a round of applause?
Good thing Deathwing Enhanced Edition will be out soon for some 40K fix.
2. I *vastly* prefer it be released finished, rather than releasased earlier, so the extra polishing time can only be a good thing
3. Even if it was due to a stupid blunder (which it wasnt, almost any project in any context can meet unpredicted issues close to deadline), the fact that you not only told us in good time, but also explained the reasons behind it, would almost completely negate any negativity *just on its own*. This is a sign of a good developer, which makes me more confident in purchasing things made by you - at least whilst I havnt played any of your games yet anyway ;)
Sure there is going to be some people that get rubbed the wrong way, and for them, sure. . .be upset, you had a certain expectation and in that regard it has not been met, but try to understand that they would rather apologize now for the delay, then to give you something that they're not proud of.
So, take your time with it, I can't wait for its eventual release, and all the best with your other endeavours. Cheers!
The emperor protects ;) ;) ;)
