However resort to this only if nothing else works (and revert back the setting if it doesn't help either) since it could possibly cause different network issues. I'm sorry about the trouble with the servers, but I want to ask you to keep civil in these forums, however frustrating this issue is, which I know it is. The above fix had helped a bunch of players with similar issues.
I felt like my posting of this was perfectly civil. My comments on the other thread were more anger driven yet I feel I didn't "Cross a line". Once again, you're offering a solution for me to tweak and fiddle rather than neocore fix the problem as a whole. As for my posting above unless you find me insinuating the online co-op is very shoddy and poorly built being uncivil well I'm sorry to say but I'm sure there's plenty of people who say worse things about the game. Me personally? I love the game, the writing is fantastic, the gameplay is extremely fun, the progression is amazing and yet what is my major complaint? Not that the game sucks(cause I love the game) but that co-op feels like an afterthought(Evidence such as it not launching with co-op campaign) and it desperately needs some attention and fixing(which developers have stated to other people to "wait it out" or "download a cert file" and now "change your internet settings, it may cause issues so change it back after playing martyr") which I find ludicrous. If it wasn't intended to be worked on and ironed out so these issues don't rear their ugly head then I ask, why even add co-op campaign/co-op void crusade? Not saying I don't appreciate the co-op being added, I just find the implementation extremely poor, and the responses to people asking to fix it just as poor.
Edit: So my brother and I played together for 2 and a half- 3 hours today and didn't run into a single "Failed to join" message. Thank you for telling me about the fixes to the server and thanks for all the hard work. Sorry for the anger related comments. The reason why I was so mad is seriously cause I love the game so much and have beaten it and grinded the end game on 4 separate playthroughs and was really excited to do it in a co-op setting. Inquisitor Martyr is one of my favorite ARPG's and my first dip into the warhammer 40k universe. One of my playthroughs I seriously just kept googling more info on lore while playing. If there was a mention of something I didn't understand I googled it and read more. Neocore knocked it out of the park as far as engaging fun gameplay, smooth fun progression as well as a kick ass engaging story and it's one that I will continue to pick up over the years. Thank, thank, thank you for making it available to co-op the campaign!!!
