[SOLVED] Black screen with mouse cursor on Alt-Tab / Steam Play / Proton

Played this game at yesterday for 4 hours under Linux Mint 19.3 (Steam Play / Proton 4.11-11 / RTX 2060 Super). Noticed a glitch happening on switching from game to desktop or another program with Alt-Tab. On returning back to game only blank screen with moveable in-game mouse cursor remain. Suing from audio, game itself is running. No response to keyboard too. Only option to get away from this state it closing the game. After launching again game run fine until next Alt-Tab'bing. Are there is a fix for Alt-Tab?

Except Alt-Tab glitch no other issues was noticed and game is fully playable.

Found a solution for Alt-Tab. In game Options / Video switch Windowed Mode to Borderless Window.

Similar issue with Star Trek Online: Alt+Tab to another window and then coming back to the game only shows a black screen. The game is still running but the screen is black; audio still works & game still runs.

AMD proprietary drivers. Linux Mint 21.1.
This issue might be related to the graphics quality. I have not *extensively* tested this but it seems that the issue does not present when the graphics settings are low.

I was able to resolve this, and keep my graphics settings on Maximum, by changing Display -> Display Mode -> Windowed Maximized.

PS: I know this is for a completely different game but I wanted to post here because this is the topic that came up when I tried searching for a fix. I hope this helps someone else!
