Inquisitors,

we addressed a specific connection problem which affected the majority of those players who stuck on the loading screen when attempted to launch the game.

Based on more than a dozen feedback we can confidently say that an issue related to certification could be resolved by installing a certification file which is needed for the game to run. In general, this should not be manually installed but we have to assume that due to specific, client-side reasons, the certificate is being blocked.

Steps:

- Download file
- Install file
- Restart computer
- Run game

Please note, that the above suggested method resolves the most common connection issue which is due to certification problems. It, however, does not resolve other connection-specific issues.

Answer: The DLS was fixed and people started playing.
Solution: fix the servers.. they can’t cope

Today everything was fine ENTIRE day. Chaos suffered, the Emperor rejoiced.
But at home the game started crashing...

I saw ppl have this problem from 2018, we have now 2024 AND I STILL HAVE THIS ISSUE WTF!? how long will it take you to fix it? bec now for me its 50/50 one day it works and another day "cannot connect to the server"...
and of course I need to fix that by downloading some BS, why my all other games work without that issue but this specific one no

Resolved logging in and disconnected from server issues by removing the tick from network connections IPV6, game works perfectly now.

Just as a test, could you please try and connect to a different network? Preferably to wired if you are on wireless and vice versa.

Will this issue ever be resolved? After using the certificate, the connection issue occurs again, so you need to use the certificate once more.

Don't know what changed but it started working properly no need for certificate or any kind of action

Turns out that my connection problems was due to my internet provider.
I have just switched from an ADSL provider to starlink. I still have both so I can switch between them. I get the 'Can't connect' message when on starlink.
So there is something in the protocols there that I have to investigate.

One thing worth trying for those stumbling upon this thread with connectivity issues, and past the cert file, is doing the following:

Right click the ethernet icon in the task bar (bottom right) > open network and internet settings > Ethernet > change adapter options > (right click your currently used connection) > Properties > uncheck "Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)"

Do revert back if it doesn't improve upon anything, though

If you give us the server part of this game, if we play online co-op, we will connect to each other faster. Please remove the server and join the game opened by the players.

I played for 7 hours yesterday with my friend. Didn't run into any connectivity issue personally.

I do wish the connection to the server when starting a mission were faster, but apart from that it's working well.

I didn't need to change anything settings wise on my connection.

I purchased this game when it was released and I've never been able to play it. I'm not sure if it is server issues. I've downloaded it on 3 higher end PC's. I get past the opening cutscene and I have no way to click on anything on the menu. I've downloaded this certification file. I've tried offline mode. Nothing seems to be working. I've installed and uninstalled it a million times. This game looks like so much fun and it drives me insane that I can't play it. Please help me.
