What does Life Drain do?
I recently started playing this game, i like it so far but sometimes there are things that aren't very clear and it's not easy to find info on it.

I can't seem to find what Life Drain exactly does. When i try to look it up i find lots of discussions with people who seem to know what it does but i can't find an explanation.

So, can someone plze tell me what Life Drain does?

Life Drain returns health points to you based on a percentage of damage done per hit on an enemy..
Example: hit for 100 damage life drain is 20% so you get 20 health points.

Do you know there is a some sort of penalties for life drain in this game? Could enemies "broke" life drain so you get less life from attack then expected? Because in other aRPG enemies could (and very gladly will) break your life drain

As far as i know, no they can't stop or block your life drain.

its vital, if u cant get it on a ranged weapon for main stat i recommend 5-9% change to deal double dmg and gain as life, or on killing blow recieve 100% supression and life.
or even XX% hp gained on crit hit.

the 5-9% and XX% ones are much better tho,
