Low Cooldown Lightning Skills?
Are there any fast firing lightning skills? I searched weapons, but the fandom wiki lists skills without damage types. Is there a better list somewhere, or does anyone know?

EDIT: For example, like the biomantic or arc swords.

But those three are the only weapons with the "Chain (AoE)" tag on skills iirc

You need proper builds like for example 20% chance of Thunderbolt when having a force field + 20% chance to reset of thunderbolt cooldown on crit and foce field drain from weapon to constantly have it on. Pair it with enemies explode on death dealing 100% base damage and you basicly explode maps.

Um, thank you for replying, but that doesnt answer anything i asked, and doesnt seem related at all.

It sounds like he's talking about a build that pumps out as much lightning as possible. This game doesn't have anything like a lightning gun, so relying on thunderbolt of authority triggers is the best you'll be able to do.

It's possible they mean heat damage, since lightning isn't a damage type.

Yes. This game practicly revolves around chaining triggers and a skill that enables it. Thunderbolt from items and weapon with lightning arcs are the closest to lightning spam and they deal heat damage type. They can delete maps with proper setup.

I meant like the biomantic or arc swords. Both have lightning skills, that do Heat (Electric) damage. Im looking for more skills like thart.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Sadly, there aren't too many. Which makes no sense considering power hammer, thunder hammer, and power axe all should have an electric aesthetic / blue force energy vibe. I really hope they change the particle effects for these weapons.

Doesn't the effect of them normally get described as a shockwave in the lore, not arcing electricity ?

I suppose it's more like an energy field, but that sort of has some arcing electric components to it. But it is always the weapon being sheath in blue energy for imperial power weapons. I'm really surprised the most important component of their visuals wasn't included.

Power weapons in general are enveloped in an energy field that destabelizes the molecular bonds of anything it touches according to the lore.
They are therefor supremely useful against armoured targets.
Thunderhammers are a bit special, as the field does not constantly surround the weapon, but rather springs in action violently upon impact.
This causes a rapid displacement of matter and the iconic thunderclap sound.

Yes, there is some arcing around them in some depictions. But I can't recall anything where there is any arc to whatever is being hit with the weapon.

I meant more an arc around the weapon once it has the energy field enabled. I assume the OP is asking more due to aesthetic reasons than anything. That sort of ties in to my complaint - the power weapons should have blue particle effects vs the current orange / red trail and effects we get. It's not a big deal but I would personally appreciate it.

The assassin arc sword does arcs in its main attack, and the arc blades have one on a longer cooldown.
