Invulnerable enemies BUG
So just did my 932950th intel mission(actually more like 50th probably), and rolled 3/3 tarots as usual. I noticed for the first time that I had 2 armour bonuses for enemies. Heavily Armoured AND Armoured. I thought OK, this will be interesting. Well, guess I was right as all enemies literally took 0 damage. I've got a build that carves through Eye of Terror no problem so you can see the issue here. Even horde enemies(the mission was just 1 level higher than me). I had to abort mission because for the objective I had to destroy those nurgle pus things. Afterwards I tried another intel mission and just got Heavily Armoured, and noticed some champions that are normally just Armoured now correctly Upgraded to Heavily Armoured instead of having both and being literally unkillable. I imagine the Armoured + Heavily Armoured tarot combo is supposed to function like this(as an upgrade) but isn't.

Always have an out regarding armored enemies. Armor piercing/breaking attacks or using the armor shred psalm.

Did you read my post though? I never have an issue with heavy/normal armour. This bug caused me to do 0 damage with each hit, even though I normally do over 30k damage per hit.

Yeah I read it, stacked heavy armor + armor made enemies take zero damage. I've seen it before myself. At the time, I figured what happened to you was what was obviously going to happen.
If I had to guess, the armor and heavily armor hazards just add a set amount of damage reduction which can exceed 100% instead of heavily armored being an upgrade to armored. The same thing happens if you get 2x heavily armored hazards. So basically, it's not a bug. It's just hazards stacking up to being ridiculous.

I strongly doubt it's working as intended. Like I said if I just get the Heavily Armoured hazard then enemies with Armoured by default, will upgrade to Heavily Armoured properly, without them stacking.

So to put it more simply:

Hazards: Heavily Armoured
Enemy example: Horde(no base armour)
Damage dealt: Yes
Resulting armour: Unarmoured + Heavily Armoured = Heavily Armoured

Hazards: Heavily Armoured
Enemy example: Armoured champion
Damage dealt: Yes
Resulting armour: Armoured + Heavily Armoured = Heavily Armoured

Hazards: Heavily Armoured + Armoured
Enemy example: Horde(no base armour)
Damage dealt: No(0)
Resulting armour: Armoured + Heavily Armoured(armoured + heavily armoured same as above) = ???

So to sum it up:
In one instance (existing)Armoured + (hazard)Heavily Armoured = Still easily killable(using champion as example)
In the other (hazard)Armoured + (hazard)Heavily Armoured = Do literally 0 damage(using any enemy as an example - even horde enemies)

Do you see it now?

I can confirm that this bug indeed exists. armoured + heavily armoured was added together with an intel mission without tarrot cards and couldn't do any damage.

In my case *all* enemies were invincible(0 damage dealt to them) and I hit all enemies on the entire level many times but did 0 damage in total. Didn't matter what enemy they were. I didn't have any armour-breaking/piercing skills but I did have a lot of armour-reducing and physical vulnerability(was using physical damage) stats on my gear. What was so special about Killing Blow? I didn't play my assassin much so I don't know what it does.

Sorry for the necro, but for some reason this mission type is still in the game. I tried every combo of attacks and weapons with my assassin and didn't do a single point of damage to the swarm of corrupted eradicators chasing me. At least not enough damage to one particular to kill it.

This seems like poor game design to me.

This is an easy one. I either change the tarot card or I abandon the mission. Life is too short to grind away forever on mobs for no extra reward.

Yea, I abandon them, I learned the same as the OP that heavily armored + armored = waste of time. I also abandon heavily armored for the same reason.

Still happening, horde enemies that only take damage from my Single-Target armour breaking ability with a 5s cooldown.

Another fun bug is alt tabbing during a load screen having a 50% chance that your character will lose all motor function shortly after you load into the level.
I'd understand this being a problem maybe 20 years ago but now it's just embarrassing, it's so consistent and easy to replicate I cannot believe it hasn't been fixed.

This has been in the game for so long now, that I am almost certain it is intended behavior.
I usually carry an armour breaking/piercing weapon in my secondary weapon set or an armour of aversion (Chance for an attack to become Armour Piercing equal to deflect/dodge value) in my inventory to deal with those.

But since last patch you can deselect tarot cards from the second tab. So at least the combination is no problem when you see it. By the way, a big map on a higher level and a time limit of 5 min wasn't nice either.
