Which Season?

I'm now back in the game, I haven't played a season before and I'm wondering which season makes the most sense now.

I play a Crusader (heavy bolter) and a Sororitas (melee).

With the new class, I'm wondering which weapons make sense, I've tried melee, but somehow I don't find it fluid.

Seasons don't change enough to favor one playstyle or build over another.
Just pick any one.
However seasons 3, 5 and 7 are the community favorites.

5 (Judgement) is the easiest due to the season mechanics and the Harbinger of Judgement belt.
It also has decent loot opportunities

7 (Malediction) is the hardest due to very nasty ground effects and corpse explosions, but has the most loot between its boss missions and the maledicted chests.

3 (Void Brethren) settles inbetween.
Gameplay is very close to non-seasonal with Thunderbolt of Authority being integrated into the normal loot pool.
You do find keys for pirate spoil chests regularly and they drop a lot of goodies.
