connecting request cannot be completed error

We had the issue before the recent patch as well, but after the patch it was a lot worse.
We could join up in a game, everything would be fine, we complete it and go back to the hub.
Second game we start, the host gets in, and the other player is stuck with the error "connecting request cannot be completed", before the patch we could click retry 3-10 times and it finally loaded, but after the patch we simply could not get in.
Restarting did not help.
Being offline for a few minutes worked so we could play 1 mission, and then back to the problem.

We tried to verify game files, and also switch to googles DNS to rule out our provider.

Same problem for me and a friend of mine.
Sometimes 1 mission works and after that it does not work until a complete restart.

It's tense, huh? I've seen people comment on this type of error. Is it that difficult or is it just a lack of will to implement offline mode efficiently ?

I also Have this issue. Gonna try validating files. We played a couple games then this "connecting request cannot be completed error" happened more frequently as we tried to continue till i gave up.

any fix for this? me and my wife picked this up togther, and when we try to play together only the host loads the mission, i the other cant join
