After all this time still no armor reskins or transmogs?
I stopped playing this game because my favorite build - crusader, flamer, melta, assault armor, looks ridiculous running around with a giant cross on his back. I don't want to took at that, it's too close to Christian iconography, looks stupid, and is immersion breaking.

I don't want to have to settle for lower rarity armor to avoid the eyesore. In a game with limited customization options like this one you really need to offer the ability to swap armor skins. How long would it take you to code this? A day?

People have been asking for this for years, how have you not implemented this?

Lol

the cross is however no symbol of said cult and has no place in WH40k. The symbols of the emperor are the lightning, the eagle, the halo (image of the psionic aura) and the skull more or less.

The "cross" you are refering to is the I of the inquisition.
Malcadors seal given to the organization on inception by the Emperors most trusted friend.
It is immersive as ♥♥♥♥. (probs to whoever gets this)
But so is your ignorance of the lore.
Very much on brand with the 41st millenium.

However, more customization options are always welcome.

It's called an Inquisitorial Rosette and it can be the symbol of the Emperor's erect phallus for all I care, it looks too much like a stupid cross and I'd rather look at almost anything else. No one cares about your stupid lore lesson. Plenty of us know what all the symbols are and it's irrelevant to the topic.

wrong again.
The Inquisitorial rosette is the badge and it too features the seal.

Imagine playing a game about and Inquisitor and then complaining about the visual representation of the Inquisition, which is on point.
Sounds to me like you have some real life issues with christianity you should work on.
It is really unhealthy to obsess about it like this.

You got "pwnt" not trolled. But, that is the default people go to when they have no logical or reasonable argument or rebuttal.
Based on your comments, I had came to the exact same conclusion :

Spot on. I am betting, many started reading this and building up a comment, then read the above comment and saw it already got said and moved on.

I don't share the OP's feeling toward the cross, but getting back to the main point of the thread, I do agree that transmog would be really nice.

I really love this game, it's one of the best Diablo-style ARPGs I've ever played. The armor designs are great, but the lack of transmog is a bummer.

Armor re-skins and such would be nice, I'd even be willing to pay a buck or two for them, but it would be nice if some could be earned solely through game play. That way the devs get a little cash and players have a mini goal to work toward.

Really? Google 40k Inquisitorial Rosette, or any combination of words you like, you'll see that I'm right.

Who even says says "pwnt" anymore? ROFL

You're just another troll that knows nothing about the 40k lore. Comical.

Here, I'll help you losers out. You're welcome. Now go troll somewhere else, idiot.

You claim to be a Fan of 40K, yet point out your "proof" is via you doing a Google Search :DMCMarionette1:.

If you dont like the image that is fine, but you tried to play the Lore Card and got called out for it. Then instead of just admitting you got it wrong you Double and then Triple Down on make yourself look like a fool. I am looking forward to your 4th attempt at playing Lore Cop :hunky_skull:.

The Emperor does not protect fools :inquisition:.

On topic, it would be nice to just get some new Skins :danette:.

This dummy thinks the symbol of the Inquisition looks even close to a cross. You would have a better argument for the Bad Moons being Muslim because their symbol is an actual crescent moon.

Now... I'm not on this guy's side here, but some canon depictions of Inquisitorial sigils, particularly those of the Ordo Hereticus, are intentionally styled like a cross.
