Cortex Fragments

Why in the **** are cortex fragments so damn difficult to get?! I have been playing mission after mission after mission and i got ONE! for a total of 66 since season started. how can i get past the first level of the season if its the most DIFFICULT part?! If only i could get 100 of them, I'd be able to level up much quicker since i have so many achievements done for levels 2 and 3 already

You are correct their drop rate is pretty rare and in my experience the best way to farm these is hunting the big guys on a higher-than-you-are-level; bosses, villians, elites and sometimes commanders.

They are also capped at 200/week and you're also not the first to complain to be time-stuck with the seasonal tiers duo to their drop-rate.

Do Hunt missions is the best advice.
You get three bosses and usually all three will drop cortex fragments

Also do not worry about higher than you missions.
I farm them easy on lower level missions.

The weekly cap of 200 can sometimes bug out, especially when you fail, restart or abort missions.
Then you lose the cortex fragments you gained in that mission but they are still counted towards the cap.

THANK YOU! Hunt missions were the way to go! I kept doing assassination missions the most and all other kinds. I got my level 1 now in the season
