How is it anno 2023?
I played it for 36 hours back in 2018 but lost interest then, so how does Martyr play nowadays? Stable, fun, grindy, repetitive? Which of the DLCs are worth the money?
Thanks for your feedback, maybe I'll give it another try!

it's alot better than release but its still clunky with keyboard and the levelling is extremely slow for example it takes about 8-13 missions to get about 1 level once you get to about level 60 and 95% of the drops you salvage or sell and panic room shows up to much and seige barely shows at all for random missions.

You are doing it wrong then. I wrote a season start guide for TA. Other classes are usually even faster. About 30 hours take you to level 100 if you know what you are doing. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2823921189

I also came back a few weeks ago after giving up shortly after release. It is better now, but there is still so much untapped potential. From what I have been reading on Reddit, here, and official forums, it seems like the devs aren't too responsive.

I am enjoying the game for now... actually finished the story! Also runs well enough on the Steam Deck (with some tweaks).

(still) fantastic
love the new class and the new season

Edit: concerning the devs not beeing "responsive"
the game is now pretty old, by gaming standarts atleast, and it's not like the game somehow was a gigantic success (arpgs and hack'n slashes are still kinda niche genre for smaller publishers); i was/am kinda surprised that they still keep adding new stuff, like the new dlcs or seasons (especialy since they have released other games by now).
i'd hoped the game got more traction after a rough launch, it's still probably my only goto diablo-clone (yeah, i know on paper PoE is the genre standart) and i do hope they release some new story-content and/or a sequel one day.

Well, we are usually here reading the posts and comments so if you have any question regarding the game let me know.

The numerous patch notes are good indicatons though that we are here to listen to the various feedback and reports. :)

A lot of us would pay big bucks for Orks to be added to this amazing game!

OP, I tried this game out years ago and put it down due to how feature heavy, complicated and how hard it was to tell what was going on and where to go next. It still is but, it's polished enough to be enjoyable. The battle sister is the missing niche for people who come from more accessible titles and the gameplay loops are organized a bit more clearly.

That said, yes, it is grindy and, full disclosure, I'm a grinder but, I have standards and this title satisfies.

Would love to see another title in this series that isn't Imperium-based. Any of the other factions. Any. Greenies are a distant, nonserious, 4th place faction imo (too cartoony) but they would make good enemies.

that is a problem with the game giving me infomation i need if its not how its intended to play i am level 83 and it says i need 243286 xp to get to the next level and a random mission yellow 86 which is 3 levels above my character level and is giving me a xp reward of 6469 plus the mission which ends up like i said maybe 13 or missions when there is a max level of 100.
