Rebel Psyker Sorcerer three warp pillar DOT cloud damage broken
So i have been wondering why i get random one shots near these Rebel Psykers (and no its not that warp nova attack upon death).

Here is my character defensive specs:
Tech Adept
7000 hitpoints
Full energy shield (21000?)
60% Damage reduction
60% Physical reduction
60% Heat reduction
60% Warp reduction
15% Dodge chance
Blessings of Saint Victorius.
Map level SAME as PLAYER no difficulty increase

So psyker cast three warp pillars i move out of way and drop 5 turrets.
Warp pillars leave three violet warp DOT clouds. I wait as those could's disappear move closer to spyker and get insta gibbed less than second when i move to spot where one of the pillars hit (so i get to casting range to drop new turrets).

One of two possibilities: first some other attack effect is overwriting that cloud effect meaning that DOT effect is still going on but visual effect disappears.
Second it is bugged and cloud visual effect has shorter display time than actual cloud damage effect has.
And damage is completely broken...

Okay i did met another corrupted/rebel psyker this time +5 difficulty mission. I tested what kind of damage that purple warp cloud does, that what lingers after pillar hit the ground.

Instead of me walking to it i did drop turrets to cloud and turret dies instantly to 100k damage tick. I also died one time when dodging grenades and walked around and got killed something like 0,1 sec to that cloud effects.

That damage needs some serious toning down.

It's the version of Empyrean Hail power - purple rain/shower of warp energy, something you can use as psyker as well.
Some female psyker villains use this, not sure which one exactly, there's at least two versions of her. The problem is the invisible lingering ground DoT effect that deals extreme damage even after visual effect has already disappeared.

Anyway, all persistent ground DoT are extremely dangerous on something like +5, but this invisible one is the worst, and addtionally, most villains are completely unbalanced.

Good to see others has experienced this lets call it bs and i'm not imaging things.

I call this the OP purple piss storm- its been this way since this enemy was introduced (YEARS AGO!!!)- get your speed up- and GET AWAY from the storm and continued ground effects...otherwise...die. It helps to be able to teleport or use assault armor to jump out of the 'zone'...otherwise....ya die...PERIOD. If they haven't fixed this in 2+ years...they are likely NOT going to fix it now....

Also there are a few enemies who explode on death. If they are bigger than a regular enemy, or are this psyker, they get a red circle on the ground to warn of the impending AOE.

Devs have fixed op bs things in the past like chaos space marine villains who drop mine fields before the "fix" minefield did leave at active state after death of the villain so i got one shotted tens of times where i forgot where the minefield is (or is under dead bodies of enemies thus not seeing it). Now the mine field disappear right after you have killed villain.

So i'm hoping devs at least fixes visual effect lasting as long as the damage effect lingers if they don't want to reduce warp DOT damage to something more sensible.
