ability to generate faith
this 3m fire circle is a bait for newcomers
it very poorly generates faith, most target dies way faster then they touch circle
that ability that gives faith for mass murder is way more effective, many times i get full faith bar in one room that i cleared

So a missunderstanding.
The build specifically does not want to go into saint form.
And if you don't want/need faith, you pick this sacred rite to get some extra damage

I'm using a DoT build based on flamer as a main weapon and a blessed blade to stunlock champion. It's good if you play in a "health sack" difficulty (ennemies die too fast for this build). I'm 79 solo so i do not know how good it is compared to other players but it is a simple build that works rather well

So which one do you think would be better for that build ?

It doesn't want faith generation, so we cross off all the rites that only generate faith. That leaves us with Litanies of Faith or Burning Devotion. Move speed that decreases over the mission and might run against the move speed cap or extra hits to trigger the relic enchant on the weapon and crits to add enrage tokens.

Towards the end of the season I did some fooling around with triple-flame aura. Basically did a Celestian using flamer and brazier until level 50, then switched to flamer and rod, flame aura psalm doctrine and burning devotion saintly deed while gearing for on-hit and on-crit effects. She has two auras hitting four times per second before even turning her flamer on. It's kind of a troll build but it was fun watching all the enemies get full stacks of heat vulnerability on contact.

I also did the blessed blade and rod with another character. It was the most effective melee weapon I tried as a sister. Worked quite well, if not as AFK as the hand flamer.

Just to share notes, I too found the Flamer (with corresponding Perks and about 2 Binharic Psalm combos) alongside just Divine Grace to have carried me through most of the game, including Crusade, on Eye of Terror difficulty. I talked to a friend at the Warhammer Store and he's pretty much using that, too.

I'll check out Blessed Blade now, thanks to your recommendation, for the upcoming Season.

Because shields don't benefit from resistance or damage reduction and therefore evaporate when an enemy sneezes at you.

i just discovered this but now divine grace has been removed from my bar and i cant get it back... they gave me a crappy combat dash in its place

That is because of your armour.
There are 3 types of armour.
One has an assault jump, one has the dash skill and the third one has an empty slot for acts of faith.
