The x button that was talked about was on the keyboard. I've yet to play this game on a controller so I can't help you there, sorry.
Has anyone else tried different sacred rites? The first one, Battle Fervor, works well enough and I can do embodiment once a map or so. I tried Scalding Zeal with a Flamer...and maybe got 20 Faith the entire run. Is This working as intended? Maybe it's a rite mainly for higher level maps.
There's literally no info on how to trigger the saint, just you need a full bar.
I found it going through the keybinds.
No idea what controller button it would be.
so far on my feedback of the dlc i can overlook the VA and the derpy spin attack on the chainsword weapons but combined with the saint form animations.... it doesn't feel like its worth even half the asking price.
Yeah you can hear the flapping sounds, but the wings don't move. It's either a bug or they haven't got the animation working right and didn't have it active until it gets fixed. I can hardly think they "forgot" about animating the wings. That's too simple of a feature to just not think of not adding.
But I'm going to wait for a sale, TBH. I mean, Inquisitor: Prophecy adds a lot more content (as well as a new character class) and it's half the price right now.
What this game really needs, IMO, is more variety in the maps and monsters. That's a massive amount of work that I doubt will ever happen, though.
It's kind of a shame; I know these devs can do it. Van Helsing Final Cut has a ton of map and monster variety.
Thank you! This works!
Acts of Faith: Special abilities that requires a censer/act of faith slot item. You can change them at will on your ship (above storage area) and pick what suits your build best. Personally, I prefer running around with a reflect shield instead.
Faith: Special mana for transforming into a Living Saint / using faith abilities.
Generating said mana can be changed to what suits you best, too. I've got a steady tick from killing enemies and it suits me just fine.
I'm not sure if it's explained in-game but press X when you see the yellow bar fill up to transform. Be aware that you'll be stuck in the form for a bit without being able to use your normal weapons, relying instead on your pre-selected abilities.
