That's when you unlock a Perk that allows you to go ham with full damage.

Allows you to go almost fully offensive in the skill trees and still be very, very tanky. Up to that point I pretty much had to use Shield+One-Hander with the Burnished Weaponry and Feint Mastery perks in order to do yellow/red missions.
Augmented Body 2, Frenzon Dispenser and Self Flagelation as perks with a bunch of crit chance from both the critical tree and melee tree, well the melee tree is almost filled. Rest is spent on vulnerability options, life-on-focus-use and some inoculator perks (reset below 25% hp).
I still have some levels to go, planning on putting some points in the suppression tree when it unlocks for me (soon) or just pick up the stacking vulnerability based damage reduction from debuffs. I had plans on CD reduction on crit from the movement tree but I'm not really sure if it is needed, probably wouldnt hurt.
Augmented Body 2 made a huge difference atleast because it opens up a new world of options and removes a huge annoyance factor in the Crusader gameplay. Not being able to get punted by sentinels or slapped around by dreadnaughts is HUGE. Also letting you dump every inoculator component that has to do with suppression refill is nice, gives you alot of wiggleroom and good options to keep a heal up when really needed.
