Full tank builds for crusader?
It there any value in the current meta for using full tank builds on Crusader? I understand that generally bruiser builds are most viable with the current content, but is there any use in dumping skill points into tank?

You kinda have to up until you hit lvl 41, tbh.

That's when you unlock a Perk that allows you to go ham with full damage.

Huh, because I'm using a bruiser build @ lvl 28 and i'm doing fine. What perk are you referring to?

probably talking about augmented body 2. you become immune to suppression damage at the cost of passive hp regen

Allows you to go almost fully offensive in the skill trees and still be very, very tanky. Up to that point I pretty much had to use Shield+One-Hander with the Burnished Weaponry and Feint Mastery perks in order to do yellow/red missions.

Ah. I've been doing mostly green missions to level. I'm assuming yellow/red missions give more XP and are better for levelling, though. I might make an alt and try that sort of build out, it looks good.

I'm running something similar as the guide.

Augmented Body 2, Frenzon Dispenser and Self Flagelation as perks with a bunch of crit chance from both the critical tree and melee tree, well the melee tree is almost filled. Rest is spent on vulnerability options, life-on-focus-use and some inoculator perks (reset below 25% hp).

I still have some levels to go, planning on putting some points in the suppression tree when it unlocks for me (soon) or just pick up the stacking vulnerability based damage reduction from debuffs. I had plans on CD reduction on crit from the movement tree but I'm not really sure if it is needed, probably wouldnt hurt.

Augmented Body 2 made a huge difference atleast because it opens up a new world of options and removes a huge annoyance factor in the Crusader gameplay. Not being able to get punted by sentinels or slapped around by dreadnaughts is HUGE. Also letting you dump every inoculator component that has to do with suppression refill is nice, gives you alot of wiggleroom and good options to keep a heal up when really needed.
