the most important thing is that you have frame blending always enabled cause if its disabled it will kill half of your fps
enabled v-sync helps against rubberbanding (a form of micro stutter)
sync- cpu and gpu gives me problems test it with your system
you can test rubberbanding by running a corridor from the left to the right and backwards after clearing it from enemys ofc
look not at your chartacter look at the scene behind your character close to the edge of your monitor then you will see if you have rubberbanding
if so try v-sync on for me it completely eliminates rubberbanding (rubberbanding is a problem near every isometric arpg has to deal with but dont ask me why
high shaders makes grounds textures flicker leave them disabled
you should enable taa without it game looks so damn jaggy no fun
also its maybe a placebo effect but i play in borderlss mode i have the feeling the game likes it a bit more specially with enabled v-sync
with above in mind i have everything else maxed out except for shadows they are on 3 and now i have always really always 60 fps even if there are 300 enemys on the screen
hope this helps

I do know that, more than any other game I own, Inquisition puts out the HEAT
my monitor, CPU and video card run the hottest with this game
I rent a really small room, 8x12, and it gets HOT summer or winter, like 80-82 degrees F in room
wow
