Character starting perks/skills/attributes list
I wanted to see what everyone started with, so I went through and ran through the first tutorial mission on every character type, so you don't have to.

Note that I only have spell levels for one sub-class of psykers, as I don't want to run through the first 5 missions multiple times to get access to the book. If anyone has the info feel free to post it in this thread and ill update.

Crusader
Assault
  • Initial Perk: Rabble Slayer - +20% melee damage while surrounded by 3 or more enemies.
  • Attributes: 2,3,1
  • Initial Skill Trees: Close Combat, Support, Hit Point, Defense

Decent perk if you are doing melee. Will let you clear the trash out faster.

Tactical
  • Initial Perk: Run and Gun - +20% ranged damage when moving, lasts 2s after stop.
  • Attributes: 2,2,2
  • Initial Skill Trees: Ranged Combat, Single DPS, Support, Movement

If you stutter step you get a constant +20% damage.

There is no minimum distance needed to activate, it might need one to bring it in line with the other perks.

Probably the best starter crusader sub-class at the moment.

Heavy Gunner
  • Initial Perk: Exalted Crusader - +5% dmg per kill, 5s duration.
  • Attributes: 3,2,1
  • Initial Skill Trees: Ranged Combat, Area of Effects, Support, Defense

Decent general perk. Pick off some trash then dump on the stronger guy before it wears off. Currently probably better to get run and gun and stutter step for guns, and Assault for melee.

Assassin
Infiltrator
  • Initial Perk: Evasive Ambush - +3 dodge for every surprise kill for 10 seconds
  • Attributes: 3,2,1
  • Initial Skill Trees: Close Combat, Support, hitpoint, Defense

Not enough experience with assassin's to give an impression on the perk.

Sniper
  • Initial Perk: Run and Gun - +20% ranged damage when moving, lasts 2s after stop.
  • Attributes: 4,1,1
  • Initial Skill Trees: Ranged Combat, Single DPS, Aimed Shots, Movement

Same as crusader version, same notes.

Eradicator
  • Initial Perk: Tactical Mastery - Swapping weapons reduces skill cooldown by 50% and reloads ammo.
  • Attributes: 2,1,3
  • Initial Skill Trees: Ranged Combat, Area Effects, Criticals, Defense

Not familiar with assassin guns. Could be useful for low ammo count / long reload weapons? The skill recharge is nice if you want to swap back and forth a lot in combat.

Psyker
Empyreanist
  • Initial Perk: Mind Rift - +20% dmg at max warp heat
  • Attributes: 2,1,3
  • Initial Skill Trees: Ranged Combat, Area Effects, Psychic Debuffs, Psychic Combat

Eh, personally I don't want to be at max warp heat / dealing with perils.

Aetherwalker
  • Initial Perk: Anointment - +10% damage for every buff effect on the character.
  • Attributes: 2,3,1
  • Initial Skill Trees: Close Combat, Hit Point, Psychic Debuffs, Psychic Combat

Psyker seems like it may end up being a buffbot for teams, so if you are already buffing yourself. May as well get the damage as well. Probably the best starting perk for Psyker.

I think this is also the weakest of the starting psyker skills though, so will be a bit of a late bloomer.

Scryer
  • Initial Perk: Blood Driven - +20 movement speed for every kill for 5 seconds, non-stacking.
  • Attributes: 4,1,1
  • Initial Skill Trees: Ranged Combat, Single DPS, Psychic Combat, Movement

Will help you run through levels faster. Will also make you outrun your teammates faster.

Are there any way to get the Starter perk of other subclasses?

It isn't a good design decision to make subclasses which in term of skills only affect what skill/weapon you have, and then add just that one extra thing which could turn out to be an important part later.

You’ve done the lord’s work here and I’m appreciating it 2 years later :)
