Digital Weapons?

So, are they worth it?...

I am so attached to my nades that I don't know if I can let go...

PLaying Heavy Weapons Crusader, and he is so slow, I need to keep the enemy at bay, plus I use Dem Armor...

In your experience are the digital weapons garbage or will they up my mediocre ability?

Depends on what you're doing.

I know I prefer them on my Assassin.

Well, I obviously try to kill the enemies before they can close with me...My melee skills(as in my personal ability to play as a melee warrior) are sorely lacking...44 years old and my twitch nerves are gone..plus, many previous broken bones in hand from some young man decisions...

Will they upgrade my aimed power enough with say a Bolter to take out some of the more powerful enemies in those blobs that come at you...instead of lobbing a nade at them...

Supposedly there is a hardcap on Critical Hit % which severely limits their useability, IMO.

I'm inherently not a melee player but in this game it's actually easier, more fun, and much faster (as in, faster killing of mobs AND faster movement due to most melee weapons having a dash/jump skill AND not having the heavy weapon movement decrease).

Try Deflector Field, it is great. 1500 points of shield that recharges and 50 suppression points/s. For 120 seconds per charge.

Just try an assault armor / greataxe / deflector field setup to see the difference.

I use them with my heavy gunner crusader that gets heals with crits. Definitely handy when you're using the Augmented Body II (never suppresed, never regen health) perk.

This gem is one of a few belt slot options that very worth to take.
Easy to stack your crit%.
Crit in this game has so many synergies that you can't miss it, stack debuff, heal, many build must play around this mechanism.

As I was saying though, Critical Hit seems to have a hardcap. Once you start reaching 40-50% it won't bring it higher.

I'm going to give it a shot...If I can speed some things up with Crusader...Kiting on a couple of Chaos Marines knids of makes me feel like a loser...

Digital Weapons are extremely useful in the late game.
I use them to enhance the hardcap critical chance.
hardcap - 50%, buffcap -100% (at least recently someone from the developers assured that the buffs can overclock the chance of a critical hit to 100%).
Digital weapons along with armor giving a 20% chance of creating a field of the rosary at a critical hit allows you to gain invulnerability on the continuation of the entire fight without interruption.
Heavy Bolter is probably the best option for using this synergy.
I will compensate for the slow speed of the assault armor.

Digitals bring me all the way to 100% crit. Most OP item since first Rosarius field nerf ^^.

That is good to know guys...I truly was unaware of the possibilty of structuring up that way...

I am not struggling in the game, I just hate backing up as two or three Chaos Marines drop mines on me and that spinning tornado crap...I work for The Emperor dadgummit...

use the sin with a lightningblade with 20% chance for double damage and heal perk, then use the dig weapons on it. You arent squishy anymore. I also change my Ino from 1xred 3x green to 2x yellow 2x green. No other heal needed with this weapon/perk combo

i just happened to drop an arc sword with this perk yesterday, didn't try it because i'm full physical tree.
So i gave it a try right now along with digital weapons...

Lol. That perk is not available on Assassin Power Sword... :) Or the 20% rosarius on crit on the stealth suit.
