"linking your Neocore account with your ingame account is totally optional but if you take part in the ongoing season creating an account would benefit you as you will be granted an extra storage tab for it."
IDK if this relevant.
Sure it is, good to know
and some people don't like it it's not only annoying to have to type that stuff in (steam already has a lot of your info, just use that),
but it's a privacy concern because when people hack your stuff the most accounts you have the more they can ruin you.
These are video games they shouldn't need all these account sign-ups etc,
it's all about knowing to track conversational and advertising habits,
finding key words people say in in-game convos then using that to either sell them stuff, or retroactively 'charge' them for some law they broke,
being a potential terrorist etc.
It's quite understandable why people don't want to go around signing up for things..
B) If you are really highly concerned about stuff you or your friends do online, please disable your internet access for anything multiplayer.
C) To mitigate some possibilities, behave, and do not mix game related email accounts with email accounts for other things like services, insurance, bank, taxes, ... and possibly use a separate device exclusively for handling sensitive data. A cheap notebook or tablet usually is more than you need for that.
the always online thing (even for solo playing) is a bit extreme though, I keep forgetting about that and it's important to me because wifi gives me headaches,
guess for that reason alone I'll have to pass, : ((
When it comes to security. this is why its recommended to use a different password for everything. so if 1 thing gets hacked everything else is fine. also regarding offline.

" no support for offline characters " and be done with it,
there's too many problems with online only I have to agree with people (who don't want to buy it because of that),
the reasons he gave aren't valid (lots of offline games have events etc, and he forgets to mention 'if you want online features, go online',
making the game online only isn't the way to promote that stuff, it just pushes people away.
(the 'real' reason is the internet of things and borgifying people etc, just get it out there instead of beating around the bush lol..)
Do you think all those techno-gadgets inserted in the inquisitors heads are 'offline' ? lol
Ultimately the headaches I get from wifi aren't funny, I'll have to pass
