Can't Craft Archeotech Shards

Crafting window shows how many shards I can forge, but will not allow me to actually do it.

Same here. I can see what shards/ psalm code i could craft possibly but the window below with the costs is always empty. Also, the "press A button to craft" is grey without responding.

Glad you asked because I am having the same issue, but I know it has been an issue for at least a week for me if not longer.

I've seen similar posts dating back to 2019, so it looks like it's an ongoing concern. In the past, devs have suggested logging out and logging back in again, but that didn't work for me.

If you have the tree opened, there is another issue I have run into. Very annoying. I believe it is a fault of NeoCore. I have to wait or restack or quit and re-enter the game to forge shards. Either a server issue or anti-cheat issue. Very annoying.

I have the tree fully unlocked and I've tried almost everything plus quitting and re-entering the game is not letting me forge. Fan-F'ing-Tastic! There goes me completing the season out the door and and more so me not wanting to play because I've hit a cap and need those forged perks.

try this maybe if you have a lot of fate tokens create one trash reroll ,rush him in campain for unloch tech tree and try unlock them with him ( all content had u unlocked its for account)

May I ask at what stage does this issue arise from the process listed below?

1. Place the shards to be used for the 'upgrade' in your character's inventory.
2. Open the crafting tab, and from there go to the forging tab, specifically the shard crafting option.
3. The shards to be used are still in your character's inventory and if you have sufficient number the 'upgrade' is highlighted in the main crafting section (centre screen). The number below the highlighted shard is the quantity that can be produced, if that is in red then there are insufficient shards in your inventory to craft from.
4.At the bottom of the main crafting section there will be a highlighted version of the shard to be crafted, the additional cost in credits and the button start the process.
5. Once crafted, the upgraded shard appears in the first of your character's inventory tabs.

As I said, to help understand where the issue is arising, at what part of the stage does the issue arise?

1. I have the shard i want to forge
2. I open the crafting tab, and from there, there forging tab, specifically the shard crafting option.
3. The shards to be used are still in my inventory and I have the sufficient number for the upgrade--it is showing the number I can craft in white.
4. At the bottom of the main crafting section is nothing. There are blank spots where shards should be.
5. No crafting takes place. The option to craft is greyed out on the bottom of my screen despite having the necessary components.

I am stuck at this level of seasonal rank because "♥♥♥♥ me," I guess. I've been collecting shards since they started dropping and I'm level 80 now. I've maxed out the tech tree. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to craft shards except for shoddy programming.

This is not a new issue for this game. I don't understand why it continues to be a problem.

I have considered the fact that I might be too stupid to understand the sequence of buttons I need to push to upgrade my shards, but there exist no videos on YouTube showing the process, no clear instructions on NeoCore's website, and no in-game tutorial for the shards. Literally every Google search either lands on a Steam or Reddit thread where the answer is "turn it off, then on again" from the devs, or "just do the thing" from other players. Neither of these are helpful, since the actual option to do the thing is literally unselectable in the in-game menu, regardless of the number of shards I have in my inventory.

It's not you. It just borks out once in a while. I've found no solution other than to wait it out. I don't think I've ever seen it fix itself in a single session, so "come back later" seems to be the "fix".

I may have been too brief in my description above, if so I apologise.
However, to get the crafting option to appear at the bottom of the main crafting section, one needs to select the desired highlighted shards above.
