Oh no doubt you are right I haven't reached cap yet so haven't concentrated on it that much. That doesn't change the fact that this boss is way out of line with the rest of the game. This is the only place I encounter this level of difficulty, at least so far.
As the saying goes 'The first step in avoiding a trap is knowing it is there'.
The Chaos Knight is always in the last fight and, sits in the middle of the map until 'pulled'.
Try working around the edges of the map keeping the 'Knight' out of screen whilst taking out the other mobs.
Also make sure you destroy the Regeneration Tower before attempting to engage the 'Knight'. Or at least prioritise the tower for destruction.
Finally, when you see the big red circle on the ground, move out of it.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a regen tower tho.
If you come across that situation, there is no beating it. Haven't struck the Chaos Knight yet, but am playing that crusade now so surely will.
