Honestly it's a bit bogus.
To be perfectly honest, that idea is what tipped me over into buying the game..
Depends on how much bionics and augmentations they have. The Admech could build something that looks like a skinny super model but can carry heavy weapons if they wanted.
It would only be 20% flesh or so, but they could do it
I think it would be cool if there was a perk option for Assassin and Psykers (Augmented Skeleton and limbs) that let them use heavy weapons. Maybe give them a minus on accuracy to compensate.
Would love an Adeptus Soritas character... Halfway between the assassin and the crusader; weapon and ability wise. Plug maybe the whip thingies they got for big AoE and semi-ranged single target.
This caused much hilarity, heated discussions, house rules and eventually a rule change through white dwarf..
Nothing worse than having your kitted up terminator bad-ass getting multi-meltad from close range...
'Heated' discussions while running around with a multi-melta? I see what you did there.
