where to find daemon engines for skulls?

I know i have to farm skulls from chaos dreadnoughts for the event, but what missions are good to farm them?

Idealy you want to do missions with Chaos Space Marine chapters in it.

I just noticed that they might have tweaked the thing so that other Chaos commanders give it, not just the dreadnaught, might be mistaken tho.

Any red skulls (Elites or villians) for the Chaos factions have a chance to spawn as a Skull Procutator.

Hunt missions are the best or the new void crusade is purely Chaos

The best bet is to do all Chaos Space Marines Hunt mission you can, since you have more (x3) chances to find a Skull Procurator compared with other kind of mission like Purge.

Yesterday i found that in Hunt missions, the 3 targets was Skull Procurators, but today i try to repeat that and in the same kind of mission none of them have the Skull Procurator tag. The enemy was the same kind of the previous Hunt mission (cant remember the exact name it was the one from the screen above).

Btw, the chances or the algoritm used for spawn a Procurator is awfull, i keep playing +4hs and only get one, the hunt mission for chaos are so few, and i complete all of them and only get 1 skull but from other kind of mission. Plz do something to improved the chances for the spawn of a Skull Procurator (until now this event is awfull).

Go to your Mission Deployment, and choose 1st those Hunt mission for any chaos space marine chapter.

I'm guessing we have to wait until the next day for missions to refresh / repopulate? I did this and did 3 missions. Got the first passive for the bionic implant unlocked. But so far I've been lucky to get 1 skull tithe daemon engine on a hunt mission. Currently at 15 so far...85 to go. Wish I had noticed this event started earlier or I'd have spent a bit more time playing this weekend. :-(

Don't need to be engines persé all skull guy-even-guys count. I've still got a bugged warprod from last season and I completed it in a few hours by killing 25 champions which did count for 'engines' as well. I also did 2 other skull event items in 2 days by doing nothing but assassinations.
And yes I agree the low spawn chance with only week is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

here is the problem with necroing a 3 year old post.
This year, you aren't looking for demon engines.
The skull procuratos can be any champion.
If you run out of random missions, just run void crusades with a majority of chaos missions (e.g. veridian).
Don't forget to use tarot/seals that increase the number of champions (there are 2 minor arcana and 2 seals)
