As for cameral, you'll have to elaborate on what "mess" is exactly, as it also seens to work fine for almost everyone.
My old setup from 2016
i3-6100 3.7 ghz (I don't overclock)
8 gbs of RAM (which I make sure at least 5 gbs are free when I'm playing Inquisitor)
GeForce GTX 960 (updated drivers)
Win7 Ultimate 64 bits
The game is installed in a hard drive which I just did a sfc /scannow. No ssd, load times are almost instant anyway.
And the camera still pisses me off since I have to manually reposition it with a mouse bind (default is mouse3 for most people, but I use mouse4).
This greatly affects gameplay, as I have to manually rotate the camera to better see the enemies.
As for the cam, I can't say I ever considered the ability to rotate camera in isometric ARPGs as opposed to fixed cam an issue, more like a welcome feature, so ... Not sure what to say.
As for performance 6th gen i3 is awfully weak cpu for 2018 games. I mean even ps4 has more powerful cpu. I'm based on an old AMD FX8320 with a RX580 16gb ram on win 7 64 i see no performance hits at max gfx. Piledriver architecture was never known to be amazing for gaming to boot. Though i admit, every game i got it can handle on ultra 1080p without a chug. That i am truly grateful for. Though i'm seriously pondering to upgrade to 3700X Ryzen with my stimulus check lol.
but i agree there should be a cam speed slider there is also a bit acceleration or smoothing i guess there should also be a option to disable that
like i said just try ik with cam on right mouse befor i played with static cam but now i would never ever change back to it thats for sure also use wasd movement maks you a lot faster and precise
peace
Guess depends how you like playing the game. I personally would prefer if cam was locked behind my char facing the way it faces. Also may be a class thing im sure melee would prefer more camera view on and around them selves rather than in front of them as far as possible away. (Camera offest was added and solved that cam issue luckily) I keep enemy in front of me at all times so if my cam face what my char did i would indeed love that much more it's tedious always having to rotate the camera to keep up with my direction of travel or point of interest. My suggestion was simple those that would like to use it should be able to those that don't want to don't have to. Could always leave a button around to give free look to those with a cam lock to.
I use wsad movement a and d is strafe not camera turning. I'd put cam turning there but that defeats how I play the game strafe there is more useful to how I play.
Oooh, okay, sorry, I understand now, I was just wondering what issue is there I just completely missed after playing, well, quite a few hours, but I always played pure meele or AD MECH FOREVER *screeches in binary*, never really seeing anything weird about how the cam wowrks and completely forgot you can very well also play it in more of a shooter-y way.
By the way no reason for an apology unless you meant to hurt me? From the looks of the question you was just curious what we disliked about the camera. My 1st char was a sniper camera is just hard to work with specially when you need to kite enemies for any specific reason. Though at times free camera can be useful to. 90% of the time I'd be thrilled with a behind char lock for tactical reasons and a bit for QoL reasons. Maybe button to switch lock on n off on the fly would be really nice I wonder if such a thing would be able to mod in? They tell me where file for camera are I'll make an update for them all they need do add to the game I got plenty of time and I am hobbyist game modder i'd be happy to make the addition for free lol.
I am confused about the complaint for the camera system. in every ARPG I have every played camera is manually controlled even in Too Human it was manual. If you want it to be facing a direction just point it in that direction?
Maybe the complaint is the strange slowness of the camera moving? I have noticed it isnt fluid but it certainly hasnt been something I would have ever imagined to be a flaw.
Well the whole camera rotation problem is that cursor is moving when you are rotating camera. Cursor should stay locked in place when rotating camera, just like it works in tab targeting mmorpg games.
