Still needs a Neocore Account

I thought maybe i could use the dev's word that an account was not required but i can't start the game without creating an account.

oh i got the game from my friend yesterday...still trying to figure this mess out. but i guess its a f..ed up backend.

I just ended up refunding it cuz game requires persistent online umbilical cord. Maybe we can get a proper WH40K ARPG in the future.

that a neocore acc is amust to play is new to me but its true you need to be online all the time

So an account is required no matter what, in contradiction to the mod reply in the thread in the OP.
Also, no option is given to immediately exit this screen, so a hard end process is required.

Creating an ingame account is necessary in Martyr. The name you add will be your account name. A Neocore account though is not required.

You just need to make a name for your game account, neocore account is not needed, the game attaches itself to your steam account.

was it always like that i kinda remember it diffrent always online is clear but the neocore acc ...?
