Dark Eldar PERMA Stun, Slow, Overwhelm, Shock and Knockdown
Is anyone else having MASSIVE problems with this?
i have problems doing a powerscore 1220 random hunt mission with a 1230 ranged crusader.
within 2 seconds of engaging a group of enemys i'm slowed by 2 tanky as ♥♥♥♥ Medusas, the snipers flat out REMOVE my supression and keep poision dots on me and knock me down over and over and over ..... while the trashmobs keep taking shots at your laying on the groud character. (gets even better when you have many slow effects up your arse that getting up from the groud takes 10 to 12 seconds -.-)
Its a slow death ..... and having NO CHANCE what so ever to even fight back is frustrating as hell.
All you can do is waste your inocculator cooldowns to push the inevitble death out by a few dozend seconds.

I usually use grenades/AOE to take out the trash mobs first because yes, their stuns are a pain in the butt. Medusae have short range, so as long as you are not a melee character, you can usually kite them. If you are? You better have some really good suppression recovery skills. The Augmented Body perk also helps if you have it.

The Talos/Succubus/Torturer can really ruin your day. Expect to run from them a lot.

In my experience, at the same PR, dark eldar missions are significantly harder than other factions. More dps, more suppression drain.

Medusa is the strongest enemy I encounter, Huge chunk of HP, high dps beam that is uninterruptable. Even if you retreat, the cooldown of the beam is very short that she will cast it again when you re-engage.

Only solution IMO is raise your PR, i.e. grind relics via Tarot, Warzone, or missions.
I failed PR 1900 DEldar missions frequently with pre-season 1 gears (1500 PR),
After some gear update it is much more easier.

The Medusae are over the top, yes. Their gaze certainly should be powerful, but they're currently far too tough- they take at least as long, if not longer, to kill than Sslyth do and they're supposed to be the tank bodyguards.

I suppose the one good thing about them is that they're possibly the only mob in the game so far that's more dangerous to melee builds than ranged ones.

Not necessarily. I found a shield for my crusader with a feature that gives you 100 suppression and costs nearby enemies 50 suppression for each deflected attack on you. That was when i stopped using augmented body and it works well enough.

Re-assign your current build to use the 'perma green supression status' (which kills your health regen), and actually use ranged AOE items (even a grenade launcher)- or continue to be perma glued into the ground...slowly....while you scream and cry in frustration, because you were used to a pure melee build....seriously....

Only crusader has that perk.

Good to know. With the Dark Eldar, PR of a mission can be highly misleading. Normally a PR+100 mission is doable for me without soo much effort, but a Dark Eldar +100 PR mission usually means lots of dying by Talos or Medusa.
