yeah it's a fan-adaption of an audiobook, but it's amazing.
This one is so amazing I can even forgive them for featuring the Ultrasmurfs.
The true Ultramarines are those of the 1st company that fought and died heroicly for their chapter and emperor during the battle of macragge from the tyranid invasion.
Plus the props to the Dominious Astra that denoted their warp drives to send the ENTIRE tyranid hive fleet into hell.
I really hope that these short films make it all the way like the Space Marines film did.
I would also like Death of Hope to feature the finale battle between The emperor and his son horus
OOOOOOOO And the charge of the Adaptes Custodes in the battle for the imperial palace OMG HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!
Really, any media related to the 31st millenium as opposed to the 41st would be a welcome change. Such an interesting and pivotal part of the overall WH40K setting yet you rarely see it being used. Always the 41st.
Honestly, the Horus Heresy is a thousand times more interesting to me than anything that is going on in the 41st millenium at the moment.
I wonder if it is the fact that GW is reluctant to let someone depict Big E and his Sons for some reason. Maybe they're more secretive and protective of them? I dunno.
A film adaptation of the "Space Wolves" trilogy....!
CGI of course.
