Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr

When does ist take place?
As the Title reads.
Does it take Place before, during or after the return of the Ultramarines Primarch?

Towards the end of the 41th Millenium.
So before the "new" lore?
Still a intact desolate Empire and now "Big Rip" through the Universe which disables the Astronomicon?
The new lore is stupid anyway.

Rowboat Girlyman and his Mary Sue Marine project can go to hell, if you ask me.
Thats why I am asking ;)

All the warpsurge activity in the story is due to the Big Rip. We are in the present of the lore, but due to all the warpstorms, this is not a very known thing in the Caligari Sector :P

New lore is fine. I know so many blindly hate on Guilliman and some of it is kinda wonky but I'm glad to see him back. Now they need to bring back the rest of the missing Primarchs.

I don't "blindly" hate on Girlyman. It is entirely justified.

I'm just glad that my favourite Legion basically disagree with "that writer" and give him the proveribal finger constantly. But yeah, *if* they bring the Primarchs back (on both sides) it won't be as bad. That would actually be interesting. Especially Russ. <3

I still don't like the idea of the Primaris Marines though - that's just moronic. There was no need to add Mary Sue Marines to out-Space Marine regular Space Marines like that.

not to mention, basically Here-Tec Space Marines. They only got legitimized thanks to Robot Girlyman, and quite a few chapters will lose more or less anything they were/are thanks to the Primaris influx into their ranks. Oh, and ofc they are Ultrasmurfs.

Seriously, aside from the whole Space Vikings schtick, half the reason why I love the Space Wolves is how they are so anti-Ultramarines in attitude.
Thanks for all answers :)
With that little Hattrick I can agree :)

Im pretty sure its not tied to any specific dates or some famous characters for now - it could be completely suited for the time of Roboute's crusade and primaris marine's era :)

Im so very very tired to play online games "in the past"...Almost every single mmorpg (if related to a long standing lore) is done "in the past" to avoid clashes with history (like swtor or eso). We have perfect chance here to "imagine" recent times in 40k universe and nobody will punish as for it :)
