- open the game folder then find the "d3dcompiler_46.dll" - make a copy of it and rename it to "d3dcompiler_47.dll", and place it into the game's folder.
I got it to work! Changing it to d3dcompiler_47.dll made it work thank you!
YOU ARE A DAMN GOD. Been struggling with this since yesterday. Thank you!
This does not work for me.
I'm having the exact same problem where I hit play, it says "running" for half and second and then nothing.
I couldnt find any solution on the internet, so maybe you guys can tell me whats going on
Install literally everything there.
I am having a similar issue. Running the .exe in the Inquisitor - Martyr folder throws an error stating WMVCore.dll is missing. I do not see the error in Steam.
I have tried installing the Windows Media Player as suggested elsewhere.
I have tried reinstalling the game.
I have tried installing everything in ../Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr\InstallUtils.
I have Checked the drivers for my graphics card.
I have confirmed my graphics card can handle DX11.
I have rebooted several times.
I can confirm my PC should be capable to run this game.
I renamed the d3dcompiler_46.dll to 47, then back to 46.
I am out of ideas. I do not want to have to return this game as I have been looking forward to it for awhile now.
