Unique weapons?
I was just wondering will there be unique weapons with specific names for end game and have abilities which have some unique gameplay mechanic which and look flash as hell!

What's the point? They'd still look like the stuff you find at level 1.

Yes....thiiiiis....this is really really making me sad....and strangling a lot of my motivation and fun factor from the game =/
Btw....have you SEEN the gd....Sycthe Demolition Armor design now?! It's....ridiculous...like a puffed up gladiator from Greece or something...even alpha sycthe type was my fav and now its horrid lol....honestly there are like 2 types of the demo armor that I can even stand to have on my Inquisitor....we NEED a LOT more variation in armors....OR...ffs...give us some other lil knick knack stuff to equip for stats and appearance...like iron halos...the purity seal which USED to have aesthetic appearance and different types like armor does....back in alpha...now they took it back out?! Why....I mean we have ONE visual progression beyond weapons...one overall armor now...and for each sub class only 3-4 different art assets....they all look the same...except for color customization through crafting....Change this Neocore!

Let me spell it out to you, then.
Unique items - artifacts are just that name, one of a kind artifact. Did it ever occur to you that it's physically impossible to stay lore friendly when they are bazillions of joe schmos out there running with exact same artifact.
The relic item with it's unique affixes is lore friendly as is the variety of effects provide a lot variety as is.

And if you kept up with the news, there are plans to introduce new weapons, unique patterns and special weapons in future updates, they're acomin'.

There were plans to make gear looks very customizable, and and key items, such as turret-armour available in more then one version - dropping different turrets, whole bunch of them. There were plans to make sub-classes truly different, by having a Unique Perk and (maybe, but more toward it, as I can recall) Unique skilltree appropriate to subclass, so it can excel more in range, melee or stealth, for example. There were plans (those were under consideration, I don't really know much more) that 'hidden auras' - which is an ARPG term for many skills which are constantly recasted and pretty much active whole time - to be moved to Perks, or Skilltree finisher, for example Psyker flight or some of other skills, which are pretty much active the whole time.

While I believe those aren't rejected, I don't know anything about when/how and ultimately *if* they'll be implemented. The system was projected much more complex. Including Angelic/Demonic weapons, Uniques and perhaps another item level and whatnot.

When (or if, before some smarta$$ quote post and write 'if' under - now it's only 98% of happening) it will be implemented, I have no idea.

But Uniques are part of ARPGs since forever, and they *should* be there. Previous NeoCore ARPGs had all of it - Crafted (much better than current), Sets, Uniques, Godlikes (and in one case a modified version of Runewords)
