really slow load times

Only loads slow on multiplayer for me, if it loads at all and doesn't kick back to the ship.

I'm having then exact same issue! On Windows 7, older PC but GTX980 and 16 gigs of RAM.

I am having the exact same issue. contacted support and was advised to re-install. After a re-install, I still have the same issue. I am using a SSD, for both my OS and the game files.

CPU: i5 7600K
MEM: 32 GB
GPU: 1080 Ti
HDD: Samsung M.2 SSD
OS: Win 10

I haven't noticed any odd loading. It seems decently quick, and I also use the oldschool SATA drives. Question is for the people having the issue; is the game installed on the same partition as Windows?

No its installed on a separate SSD. Don't see how that can be an issue though. Takes almost 10 minutes to load a mission sometimes.

Did anyone find a solution to this? I'm encountering similar issues with my setup, sometimes initial load can take minutes, other times it's just a few seconds. I should add this can be initial launch where it appears to hang for minutes at a time or the standard load screen.

Necro here. I have played this game across 3 different rigs, used an HDD, an SSD, and am currently running it on a M.2. Load times are still absolutely awful. Just booting the game can take upwards to 5+ minutes, then each mission I load into can take anywhere from 2-5 minutes in, and 2-5 minutes out.

That should no be happening on a rig of my power, especially on a M.2 drive. Its crazy how bad the load times became on this game over time.

I had the same issue on my steam deck. It was fixed after playing with graphics settings and fps restriction. But after last update it still happens.

Update: I've managed to fix the issue by removing fps limit. (Previously adding a limit was halpfull. So seems a fpl limit changing somehow is fixing the problem.)

I have this running on a fairly powerful rig (5800x3D, 6900xt, 32gig ram, SSD), load times are very fast. Before I upgraded (3600x, 2070, 16gig ram, same SSD), load times were still very fast. Only time I ever had issues was on my 1600 with the 1060, but that was FPS issues around launch.
