Forge Power?
Can anyone explane what forge power does and how to raise it?

From my brief peek at the crafting tech tree, I believe forge power increases the chances of getting more materials from salvaging items. You can increase forge power by researching more crafting tech tree upgrades.

It's understandable, the game doesn't do the best job of explaining how all its systems work.
