Are the more missions we have to do? We are already in a party together, my friend shows up in my game, but we cant find how to matchmake.
The story missions "pink missions" are solo only.
Also if you experience lag let me know I have a suggested fix I would like you to try since so far it's had nothing but positive results when doing coop.
If you don't see the console with the coop hovering over it then yea you might wanna try to do 1-2 more missions and see if it shows up.
"edit" a friend who just got the game said the console is directly to the right of the star map next to the little astropath dude you may just be missing it because he said the coop lettering color blended with the background.....
Also only the host could interact with it.
Did all that. Invited friend, we see each other in game, global chat doesn't work, star map doesn't show co-op missions, can't find matchmaking, and I'm being told different things from different sources. I just want to play co-op LOLOL
Just saw your edit. I'll check it out. But all I saw in my game after 5 missions was the star map, storage, shop, and option computer.
What is your fix, friend?
The fact we could join each others game confused us into thinking we had met the conditions needed. Guess we didn't. Devs should disable the ability to join a friend without multiplayer being available.
If you're getting the lag and rubberbanding port forward these ports if you're host.
TCP: 27015-27030,27036-27037
UDP: 4380,27000-27031,27036
If you're not host you should let the person hosting know to forward those ports. So far all my friends who had the lag and stuff had it fixed simply by forwarding these ports.
Guessing it was showing up for my friend because the person he invited to party had it unlocked so he could see it as well. I didn't really pay attention to it till I unlocked all the npcs in the ship which is why I wasn't completely sure if it was there beforehand or not.
UDP: 4380,27000-27031,27036 Please tell me how to use it.
